Ladopo’s vaccine recommendations were fraudulent

In a finding every bit as shocking as learning Clarence Thomas was corrupt, it turns out that Florida’s Surgeon General was exercising the freedom to be fraudulent in his vaccine recommendations.

Now, draft versions of the analysis obtained by the Tampa Bay Times show that this recommendation was made despite the state having contradictory data. It showed that catching COVID-19 could increase the chances of a cardiac-related death much more than getting the vaccine.

That data was included in an earlier version of the state’s analysis but was missing from the final version compiled and posted online by the Florida Department of Health. Ladapo did not reference the contradictory data in a release posted by the state.

The Times’ records request asked for all previous versions of the state analysis made public on Oct. 7. The documents show that, before the final version was released, at least five drafts had been produced. One version included a data table showing the number of cardiac-related deaths from infection. The conclusion in four of the drafts provided a counterpoint to Ladapo’s assertion about the vaccine.

Four epidemiologists who reviewed the drafts said the omission is inexplicable and flawed from a scientific standpoint. They said that, based on the missing data, Ladapo’s recommendation should be rescinded.

Desantis’ lap dog, brought in purely to gain political points with the anti-vax crowd. His history of involvement with the grifter scheme known as America’s Frontline Doctors prior to his hiring as the surgeon general made his stance on the virus well known and clear, so this is no surprise to anyone who actually knew his work prior to his hiring. Guy is a complete embarrassment to those of us in the science and medical industry. It’s a shame we still have some on this board who refuse to see it and can’t just admit that they were wrong.

I’ll withhold judgment until we hear from a layperson who stayed in a holiday inn express last night and did their own research.

Q will be here shortly to state how Florida was the “gold standard” and handled everything correctly despite all the data showing otherwise.

Wouldn't the intentional withholding of all the information violate some kind of medical oath?

UF is cowered by DeSantis. Were it not, he would have been fired long ago.

Desantis, as former military, also swore an oath to defend the constitution. It appears some are bought out of their “oaths” more easily than others.

I posted about this article with the link in both the Coronavirus and DuhSantis threads a couple of days ago when this story first broke. He responded in the Coronavirus thread. To summarize, he is not fazed by the facts.

Justice Thomas told him it was OK to withhold the information.

I have been staying out of the covid thread because of certain posters who continually post misinformation there. It just got too tedious. But a while back they were harping on excess deaths and posting any sudden cardiac death they could find as 'proof' that the vaccines were killing people. Turns out that covid itself is much more likely to be the cause of the higher excess death counts we've seen. Turns out many of these unexplained excess deaths are likely covid-related deaths and so the actual covid death count is higher than the reported one. Of course most of us have suspected that was the case, but as more data comes in, it will likely further confirm it.

The worst part of this is, anyone with functioning brain cells knew that this was the case. Florida did not experience COVID in a bubble. It is not like we all could not look at the experience of 49 other states, and nearly 150 other countries around the world to know that Dumb-Santis and Lap-dog-ado were full of cr@p and making stuff up. It really shows how ignorant the vast number of Floridians have become and how the campaign agianst critical thinking is working fantastically down there.

Yet, most republicans approve of DeSantis, often just because of one or two issues. What I would give for a GOP candidate with kindness in his heart and a commitment to uniting the country! Instead, we have two appealing to the worst in us and with bases who are okay with that. I don’t understand it.

It has to be extremely disheartening to the teachers at UF that Ladapo was hired as a tenured professor. The guy deserves to be fired.

He needs to have his medical license revoked. His blatant lying has certainly contributed to excess deaths and hospitalizations.

You look in his eyes and you can see he’s batshit crazy. Not everyone has the ability to perceive this but it served me well in my misspent youth when pursuing women at bars. It did take a vacation if I was doing bumps.
