Maybe they start doing more business with Europe while reducing Europe's trading with the U.S. Europe has no respect for Trump. And like the Canadians said, they can shut off electricity to Michigan and a few other states. Sounds like they have plenty of options AND leverage.

Besides, every time Trump brings up his idiotic tariffs, the stock market takes a dive. Trump is starting to lose credibility with the investing crowd as well as the grocery shopping crowd. His approval ratings are dropping rapidly considering he has only been in office for a little over a month.

There are only two negative things I have heard:

1. Fentanyl crosses their border into ours (they don't mention that it is a fraction of a percent of fentanyl that is illegally brought into us)
2. There are high dairy tariffs if a certain trade imbalance is reached that has never been reached. The agreement was also signed by Trump.

It is crazy that we have decided to stomp on our long standing relationship with Canada based on these two made up grievances.
