Know him well do you? How about Biden is looking at the advantage incumbents have... knows he beat Trump handily last time... knows Trump looks old too.... knows any other leading democrat will have different baggage, Biden has age, but is a centrist, others will have some other issue folks take resentment to. Claiming he loves power and cant give it up is made up but Im not throwing shade you were clear that it was your opinion/thoughts.

Of course it is my thoughts. But, when he ran, I recall it was billed as a means to unite your Party with the Moderates, and he ran implicitly as a one term president with the goal of taking out Trump. And now the polls show that he is unpopular, his age matters, and his age coupled With his unpopularity makes him a tenuous and exposed candidate, far more so than when he ran in 2020. The Democratic Party deserves a solid candidate to beat Trump, and Biden, IMO and according to the polls, is not that candidate. If Biden was self-aware, he’d step down. But I DON’T THINK he is self-aware, because he has reached his crowning moment and cannot think clearly or rationally about his tenuous position. And, his VP is someone that seems to be disliked far more than Biden, thus leaving voters — given Biden’s age — with an even further degraded choice.

I won’t pretend to know exactly what makes a conservative, but I agree that the current Republican Party is quite against immigration. That said, the Reagan republicans fought against the democrats efforts to close the borders.

Those republicans, like the Kochs, were less influenced by nationalism and populism and more influenced by the Hayek/Friedman schools of free markets. In fact, I don’t think that the Kochs would even call themselves conservatives. I believe their alignment with Republicans was caused by Republicans’ (ever waning) appreciation for economic liberty.

Meh. I think he’s too old but so is Trump. If those are our choices I have no issue choosing a far superior old guy. Doesn’t look like he is done taking out trump. You continue to go to far regarding Biden’s motivations.

    Biden over Trump
    Biden over DeSantis
Most of the other candidates over Biden

    Those are my thoughts, fwiw.

And, while you say I “go too far” re Biden’s motivations, I suspect you have exactly as much inside knowledge as I do for the reasons he decided to seek reelection.

Although Trump won at the trial court level its currently on appeal with the State Supreme Court is reviewing the trial court's decision and depending on the results the issue could ultimately be reviewed by the SCOTUS. Seems that someone with "Lawyer" in his screen name would be aware that a case involving a significant issue of law isn't final until the appeals process is exhausted or alternatively the litigants have decided to accept the trial court's decision and have elected not appeal.
Case seeking to bar Trump from 2024 ballot appealed to Colorado Supreme Court

You must be fun at parties. My God you are obnoxious.

Maybe some people here aren’t obsessing over Trump. SMH.

if they are anything, I would think it would be libertarian. I have no doubt that they are solid anti-trumpers, i will give them credit for that much
