Kirk Herbstreit Issues Lengthy Apology to Florida State Football Fans

Kirk is going to be in Dublin, Ireland in late August with a ton of FSU fans for the FSU vs GaTech game. I would assume he is trying to avoid getting the same welcome from FSU fans in Ireland that British Troops got from the Irish in the 1970's.

 

The Seminoles would have never even been in the conversation if we had computer polls with SOS algorithms programmed in ranking college football.

Strength of schedule matters... and so does losing your only great player right before the playoffs. They were not the same team and they did NOT deserve to play in the Natty. Lol... even UGA destroyed that paper-nole team. That proves they did not belong in the title game.

 

The chickenshits sat out the game so they wouldn’t be exposed and they could claim that was not really their team. I wish Travis never got hurt, and they did make it

Well, they did come within 8 scores of beating georgia. They should be angry.

 

IDK about that. The computer polls wouldn't have a factor for Travis's broken leg. Just their W's and L's and points scored etc.. Their schedule would have dinged them some but even the BCS prioritized your rank and record.

 

They got obliterated by 60 in their bowl game and played a schedule ranked in the 80’s. Should the Kellen Moore Boise St teams been in the natty too? Give me a break

 

The Noles are the ones who need to be apologizing.....for the 60 point loss in a New Years bowl.

 

The injury was all human, sure, but their rankings before that would have put them around 5 or 6th with that cupcake schedule before they lose their QB.

They had too many offensive statistics gobbled up by one player... their injured QB.

 

OSU douche writes letter to the clowns——who cares?

 

They played a very weak schedule and needed help from the crooked ACC refs to beat Miami, UF, and Louisville.

If both UGA and FSU were full strength they still lose the bowl by 20+ points.

Louisville game had an agenda and it was clear. So many non-called PIs in the game and this isn’t bias, the announcers mentioned it too. Thing is… Louisville almost seemed in on it. They didn’t argue the PIs, the TE that had the TD ripped out looked like it should have stood and it wasn’t even challenged, and the QB Plummer isn’t the greatest but he has never been that bad. Kid showed 0 interest in the game imo. I don’t know, maybe I’m overthinking but that’s how I saw it

 

Funny, I've got nothing but hate for the Noles brand.
