Maybe because their rein has lasted so long, I just don't remember Bama going through the criminal stage. I do remember stories of fancy cars, bags of cash. But not as much questionable behavior as the Noles and Georgia. Then there was Miami and Nebraska back in the old days. Geeze.

Our current roster sure seems like a good group of kids. I don't want to point fingers too much at other programs misgivings. I simply hope our glory will be in our classes and their eventual rise to the top.

It seems that some folks are what you might call professional victims. There seem to be a few of those around here who exhibit an unusual degree of empathy for the SOW.

 

It's been years but I have read the whole police report on that shooting and I recall while the d-bags who were messing with Hernandez said it was "the Hawaiian" who shot at them, the impartial bystanders said it was a person that did not match Hernandez.

The implication that Meyer could keep a young Hernandez out of jail for murder, while being powerless to stop arrests for throwing a sandwich or getting a car out of an impound lot, fail all sorts of logic and intelligence tests.

Again, I don't deny the program was out of control under Meyer. But he clearly didn't have much pull with the Gainesville police dept.

Quite a contrast to UGA and Athens where "racing in the street" and driving drunk was covered up.
