Bill Maher has, in my opinion, pretty expertly stayed moderate enough in his public stances to get clicks and views from both the right and left. Few in show biz have done it as well as he has imo.
I went to Bill Maher's show in Vegas earlier this summer. He took it out on both Trump and Biden although Trump got the worse of it.
Kid Rock and Michael Jackson are similar in my mind. Both had good music back in the day, but both have integrity and character issues.
