If we can’t acknowledge that both parties have their bogeymen … you may be brainwashed.

I don't think that post said anything about political parties.

Truly the idiocracy in the making. To have a government run by idiots, you must have a pool to draft from. Like a farmed trout pond these days.

lloyds of london having a bad day. will they have to pay for the bridge to be rebuilt?

A historic and clubby group in London could face billions in claims from the Baltimore bridge collapse (msn.com)

Analysts with Barclays estimate insurance claims from the bridge itself could total $1.2 billion, with as much as $700 million in claims for wrongful deaths, plus additional costs from business interruptions related to the port closure and bridge reconstruction, Bloomberg reported.

Economists told Business Insider the port closure itself will cost $15 million per day in lost economic activity, with other disruptions pushing the total into the tens of millions per day.

Baltimore is a key import and export point for cars, construction and farm equipment, and coal — much of which is on hold while salvage crews clear the shipping lane.

All told, Barclays said insurance companies could be looking at claims as high as $3 billion as a result of the crash, Bloomberg reported.

Lol, the conspiracy theorist apparently got mad at me. Now how will I know about how the WEF, Ukraine, Hillary Clinton, Jewish people, and DEI crashed the ship? And all because I was doing my own research by asking questions!

Probably forgot a lot of the reading, but one thing I learned in school was how to do actual research

They will never be disavowed. Sadly the kooks either as media supporters or self-identified members of the "Trumppublican" party itself aren't outliers they're now a core part of the party's ecosystem.

I imagine the insurance companies are going over that policy (ies) with a fine tooth comb looking for loop holes to get out of some of the claim.

Honestly, if you hang around enough, a THFSG conspiracy theory or blame totally depends on if reds or blues are in power.

Well i took a few kooks off ignore since I started this thread and thought it was non-partisan enough to give everyone a chance to react in it. Proves I overestimate the kooks.

Why let the boat company off of the hook? They have some responsibility to pay for damages.

You’ll likely never know how much of my retired military life I spent hunkered down, from 2000 to now, going deep diving throughout the web seeking answers…from the Act of 1871, to Jekyll Island in 1913, to 911 and Oklahoma City, to Jan 6 2000 as a sampling. Now if one wishes to PM me and wants to engage in civil discourse, fine, but it’s time to disengage from the small den of vipers. lol. God Bless you guys and go Gators
Edit: if you do deep dives on the above, which wgbgator likely would never do, stay away from commentary by Wikipedia, Britannica, or government sources. Fwiw

I assume the boat company wont pay anything if they have insurance. Perhaps what you are saying is a possibility, but the quickest way the bridge gets rebuilt is the government paying for it, so I assume thats why Biden said what he said. My guess is the boat company goes bankrupt anyways, which makes collecting anything difficult.
