Kentucky Republican Pushes Bill To Legalize First Cousin Sex

Like I said, the concept itself is worthy of some discussion, several states allow it today. But to go out of your way to try and legalize it is just bizarre. Who anywhere is gonna say “finally!”. Or “That’s bold leadership I can get behind!” Even in Kentucky.

 

The original story was updated, the guy claimed it was a mistake/error that the first cousin language was removed and that it was never about that.

Whether that’s credible or not I guess depends on the actual text of his bill.

 

Back breeding is effective if you are willing to cull the progeny.

Sounds more like the original story was fact-checked and exposed as a lie. But hey, at least we got to dig up a little dirt on California in the process.

 

No, if you read the updated article (which I know is alot to ask, since it’s a whole paragraph and isn’t in meme or video form) the guy who authored the bill is quoted as saying it was an error to remove first cousins. He withdrew the original bill and is resubmitting it.
