I work for a global Danish company and during one of our sales meeting ‘team building’ events several years ago, a young Turkish salesman announced he was getting married. Everyone toasted and cheered of course. Later that night, we were talking and he asked me if I had any advice for him. I simply said “Always remember…..happy wife, happy life”

Every time since when we are together, he hugs me and tells me that was the best piece of advice he ever received. Some things truly are universal.
