Well, KC's snowflake fans are already calling for his ouster.

Maybe one of the 28 or so teams that has a shittier kicker than this guy, might swaller their pride, and tap a decent, God fearing, good Catholic kicker, to be theirs.

but Ima guess he'll be lucky to be holding a mic next year, let alone strap'n the pads and a shell, and aiming tween the pipes...

"This absence of men in the home is what plays a large role in the violence we see all around the nation."

The most important part of his speech that no one has commented on.

It wouldnt have been news if he'd gave a generic commencement speech, I think he made it 'news' when he made it a speech about what he thought - which goes for people reacting positively and negatively.

Here is the speech. His first three minutes are spot on! He was perfectly correct to call out leaders that “call themselves” Catholic. I will listen to the rest later….

Great use of the word pervasiveness. I wasn't expecting that from a kicker...

At least they’re not threatening to boycott the NFL like a certain group of a snowflakes is known to do whenever an athlete says/does something they politically disagree with.

Well you know it must be bad when they are like "fire the retrograde kicker" but "keep the racist tomahawk chant" - not exactly the 'woke mob' here lol

Again--a Catholic man, waxing Catholic, to a Catholic audience, at a Catholic college commencement.

It's like bitching that a famous gay celeb--like an Ellen Degneres--waxed queer, to a queer audience, at an LGBTQ... function.

Calling him an SOB and demanding he be fired is precisely what a certain knucklehead would have done, much to the glee and approval of his supporters.

Religious fundamentalists are often reacting to their own disordered thoughts and experiences by pretending that religion can provide every answer easily and order everybody. It is a way for them to avoid their own issues more often than not. Unfortunately, they often try to impose their own needs on others.

He's semi famous, and he gave an opinionated speech. Lots of the people reacting to it and sharing it agree with it too, its not simply negative reaction making it "news."

He has a right to his opinion, and others have a right to disagree with him.

One thing about the NFL. They are extremely woke and will suppress and hide any athlete that makes public statements against left wing orthodoxy

Tebow was more than good enough to stay in the NFL for a decade. The problem wasn’t his faith either. It was the media circus that came along with him.

If he was elite, teams would have put up with the circus. See Aaron Rodgers. But teams are not putting up with that for a backup/sometimes starter type player.
