Look at the polls! Okay, here are some poll results. Oh, well those polls had Hillary winning by double digits! This is the second time this progression has happened in two days. It is funny. BTW, it is also factually wrong, as not a single poll had her up by double digits in November, but it is funny. https://realclearpolitics.com/epoll...rump_vs_clinton_vs_johnson_vs_stein-5952.html
I Lived With Brett Kavanaugh At Yale. The FBI Never Returned My Call. | HuffPost Though I did not attend the party, I was able to dig up an old yearbook and draw up a list of people I thought the FBI probably should interview. That list consists of residents of entryway “B” and others who might recall the event. Some of those names have surfaced in news reports, but others have not. I was never able to provide that list to an FBI agent. My first thought was that the FBI probably already had the information I was offering and was on top of things. I have since learned from other former Lawrance Hall friends and neighbors that many of them similarly offered potentially useful tips to the FBI. The FBI has not bothered getting back in touch with them, either. Ramirez’ lawyer reported that he provided an extensive list of possible witnesses. He claimed that none has been contacted so far. Kavanaugh’s own former roommate similarly asserted that his offer to provide information has been rebuffed. All the evidence at hand suggests that the FBI has not reached out to people it should contact for a thorough investigation. ----------------------------------------------- Funny how the WH let the FBI talk to Ramirez but refused to let it talk to any witness who could corroborate her story. Sounds totally like a real investigation and not a sham. /sarcasm
This raises all sorts of interesting scenarios. Perhaps the most bizarre of which would be giving Manchin cover to stay off the record by vote pairing with Daines and voting present as a senatorial courtesy, allowing McConnell to still lose one of Flake/Collins/Murkowski and have Pence break a 49-49-1 tie. No real way to tell what will happen there without just seeing what shakes out though. If I were to guess, I think 51-48 (all three squishy Republicans plus Manchin) over the weekend is probably most likely. Daines’ statement was that two things would happen this weekend, we would have a new Supreme Court Justice and he would walk his daughter down the aisle.
Are these some of the links? Christine Blasey Ford remembered in Dewey Beach bar scene BOMBSHELL: Blasey-Ford's HS Yearbooks Brag of Drunken Promiscuity, '54 Sex Partners Before College' - The Shad Olson Show Let the attacks begin!!!!
If you ever want to understand how some conservative women think, look no further: This is the person diehard mentioned earlier. She's appalling.
I mean... apparently Kavanaugh was running a gang raping ring when he was 17... so that wouldn't be much of a stretch...
This is some old school thinking that helped shield millions of men who sexually assaulted women, sexually harassed women at work and protected men who commit domestic violence.
I thank I was referring to calling out people on this board which I understand is suppose to be against board rules. Slut Ford is fair game for conservative as liberals make Kavanaugh fair game for liberals
It's good that we're getting to see the real diehardgator1 here. I'd love to hear more about your thoughts on Dr. Ford. Like I said, I'll take my "ant hill."
Worried about confirmation is my guess. Kavanaugh pens op-ed, decries 'vicious' attacks while saying he 'might have been too emotional' at hearing
Any body that assaults women should be prosecuted. But some females word with no prof is not prof and opens her up to the same attacks she puts out. Ford has made accusations she cannot back up with prof and she deserves any and all come back she gets. She is not entitled to be treated with kid gloves she is a full grown woman and must be held accountable for her lies she cannot back up
The issue is that after everything becomes public anyone can come in off the street who had a passing acquaintance with Kavanaugh, Ford, or Ramirez and claim "Oh, I remember that because X told me about it, but no I wasn't there to see it myself" and it just happens to back up the story of the person who has the same political goals. Uh, the claim was in his yearbook from '82 so I would say it was prior, if I had to go out on a limb.
Can you link to the claim in the yearbook that it was a drinking game and not the much more common usage? I suspect that you are purposefully conflating issues. The term was used. However, there was no indication that it was a drinking game. Can you find any mention of it as a drinking game predating his saying so in that theory?
Yeah I feel the same way, and as you know, I don’t do it lightly either. Super conservative views? That’s fine. Political outlook shouldn’t be a factor, IMO. But the way he handled himself is a problem. This is sad, because I think Kavanaugh became a weird ego fight, when someone just as, or more, conservative would have been more appropriate.
