Honestly, I would say assuming someone that is accusing Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault at the 11th hour, 36 years after the fact, on the eve of his confirmation is a political operative is far less of a reach than assuming an entire political party is willing to install a SCOTUS justice who tried to rape someone.
They don't want it released because it would obviously raise more doubt about Ford's allegations. If it favored Ford, her attorney's would release it.
True, but that's on Feinstein, not on Ford. Nor should it give Kavanaugh a free pass. I also believe that Feinstein sat on the letter to first vet Dr. Ford to ensure she is credible, which is a responsible thing to do. And then Feinstein held back to try and keep Ford's anonymity.
Consistently within 4? Did you open the link? Is 6 greater than or less than 4, because that was the last poll? And there have been exactly 2 polls in the last several weeks. Given that 1 is at 2 and the other is at 6, I am unsure of how you made this claim. So can you explain it?
If you have read anything I have wrt to him actually doing it...you would have educated yoirseld that I have said multiple times he should be in jail if he did it. But carry on with it being okay to trash a man when all the corroborating evidence shows he did not do it. So again...if I have been fooled and he is a bad guy. Yes he should be in jail and he is the lowest of the low. Forget the USSC and this charade. But I am not sure you will be able to understand that.
I thank the notes and sessions from the head shrink would be more detailing about her mental condition
Simply not true. That is the problem here. Whether the corroborating evidence can show that he did it or not, it has not shown that he did not do it. And the need to reframe suggests that it isn't about an analysis of the issue that is driving your opinion here. It is advocacy.
Feinstein did not sit on the letter to vet Dr. Ford. Any investigator that Feinstein would have hired, would have had to been paid for by funds provided from the JC and that means Grassley would have heard about this accusations. Feinstein did not ask Kavanaugh any questions about this accusation during the close door portion of his hearing. DiFi held on to this letter until the nomination had past the point that Trump could not replace Kavanaugh if he withdrew Kavanaugh before the mid-terms.
I totally agree. But it almost does more harm to Ford's credibility by refusing to release it, as they leaned on it as corroboration for bringing forth the allegations in the first place.
There have been three polls since May and they have been Menendez +4, +2, +6. That works out to about +4 given the MOE.
If you are looking for the answers you want...then you may think BK did something to Dr. Ford. If you want to use the facts we know and common sense. You know BK is by far the more credible side. Dr. Ford has either misidentified the person who sexually assaulted her or is lying based on the affidavits and statements under oath we have. But if you think BK was the guy based on what we know...you want that to be the answer verse wanting to use the facts to analyze the situation.
You really should open the RCP link. Because you are factually wrong. The average is +4 since May, but there have been more than 3 polls and the last few weeks have seen +6, +2, +6, or as RCP says +4.7%. Meanwhile, you are relying on one +10 poll in North Dakota and ignoring the 2 +4 ones.
There bigger issue is that Menendez cannot get about 45% in polling. If your the incumbent and it's Oct and you're not about 45%, that is bad news.
There is a difference between saying I don't have to answer your questions because you have no subpoena power and invoking the 5th.
