That is entirely possible. So then why the resistance to the investigation? There is a chance it would out her as a liar. Why is SHE calling for the investigation and the other side trying to deny it?

There is no proof that Dr. Ford is a liar.....we all know these kinds of allegations are difficult to prove due to the nature of sexual assault. This is why most sexual assaults are not reported by the victim.
A moderator conceded here yesterday she was clearly lying about not knowing that the JC was willing to meet with her in California. Pretty blatant. I'll also go back to the fact that she was supposedly so indignant about her "civic duty" to drop this after 36 years, but supposedly too afraid to fly to DC, even though she somehow mustered up the courage to take multiple vacations to places like Tahiti and Hawaii. At the very least, she let's one of her friends drive her across country to DC as you don't write your Congresswoman and Senator about this unless you're ready to take some action. Clearly lying about her reluctance for travel all around. Anyone who denies this is just making excuses for her dishonesty.
Mark Judge was the other man allegedly in the room on this one. How can you have an "investigation" and not even go to the only other guy in the room (who was also an alleged perp). He doesn't have to go in front of the committee if he hashealth problems, I can sympathize with that, but the guy obviously has to submit to questioning of some kind. He and Kavanaugh both also possibly inferred having '3-somes' and "have you boofed yet" (anal sex or anal ingestion of alcohol) in their high school yearbooks the very same year as this allegation. That is what those terms mean, and I'm 99.99% Kavanaugh is lying as to the true meaning of "Devil's Triangle" and "boofing". If the Ford allegation is false, that is one helluva coincidence, is it not?
Kavanaugh never said he was against an investigation. In fact in his opening statement he said that he would submit to ANYTHING because he is innocent. The democrats were trying to make him do something that he had no authority or proper place to do. Which is make a demand of the committee. Same thing is he demanded that they vote on him now......he didn't do that either. The reason that she is confident is simple.....this can't be conclusively proven either way. The evidence will indicate a probability (which is overwhelming that BK did not do this) as there is not one witness that has corroborated a party that was attended by BK and the named attendees. But a conclusion will most certainly not be drawn.....this whole delay is to open time for more BS accusations that the democrats will then demand more time to investigate each claim.
Easy....he made a sworn statement that he wasn't there which was supported by HER friend who said that she never attended a get together in which she, Ford and BK were all in attendance. At that point, GAME OVER!
They would go towards her state of mind and the credibilty of her accusations. Did she change her story at any time during therapy? Did the number of people at the party change? Did the number of attackers change? I understand why her lawyers didn’t want them to be given to the committee, because they could be used to undermine her credibility and assassinate her character. However, if they were shown to a reporter, why can’t she show them to the committee? Just have an independent party redact everything not related to the assault allegations, and provide it to the committee.
Her reluctance or fear about flying has been highlighted by the right to provided some sort of proof she's lying. If the right has to go to that length to prove her a liar, then they don't have much proof at all she's lying. Pubs ignore the fact that over half the population of the US are women and they're watching closely how the GOP is handling this.
Everyone should think about the days in American history when white women were believed whole heartedly by the masses about sexual assault and the end verdict of the was guilty and mob justice was served.
Thank you for at least raising a specific point, yes, there are certainly inconsistencies based on what was reported in the press. Although in her actual testimony, she said she has strong anxiety about flying but sometimes does it anyway. Ok? That describes millions of people. There are medications you can take for that anxiety BTW. I don't think this is much to nail her truthfulness on, since the issue is more with "how it was reported in the press" vs the reality of the situation, which she testified too. It is odd that she wasn't aware of offers to visit her in CA, hell that was widely reported. She claimed to be "confused" about what was on the table, I don't buy that totally.
The bottom line is all we really have is her credibility at this point, because she waited 36 years to drop this. Whether it was because of poor gamesmanship on the part of her attorney leading up to it or whatever, that she would make such false claims under Oath really hurts her credibility. And her credibility is all we really have to go with at this point as there are zero eyewitnesses and zero physical/forensic evidence.
