I completely disagree with you. Haven't you gone to some gatherings with old his school friends or friends , and usually they will bring up something funny from a party that happened back in school and yes alcohol was involved most of the time. Funny thing those stories would jog my memory every time, some were would be so vivid it was like it just happened. So if something that dramatic actually happened everybody would have remembered. On the 35 years from now comment, I hope just were still alive

I'll start with saying Amen to your closing comment.

There are certainly some very funny shared experiences that link people and bring back memories. Agree. But probably the overwhelming amount of time we spent at parties in HS and college, we have little memory of nor particular reason to remember.

In this case, we're talking about a traumatic experience for one person, shared with two other guys who it probably didn't mean much too and were reportedly highly impaired. My guess is that if it happened, they remember at least glimpses of it, but it's so hard to tell.

I do know that one weekend in college I got so drunk, and "functioning" drunk, that the following week I had several people talking to me about a party we were at, and I remembered none of it. I made an impression on them that they wanted to hang with me and a couple of real nice looking ladies included, and there was absolutely no memory of it for me. Didn't remember any of them or where we were or how I got home. And I drove. Pretty scary, but entirely true.

It is entirely possible this whole event occurred, and Kavanaugh and/or Judge don't remember it or remember very little of it.

As far as her girl friend goes, I don't know. If Ford just left the party on her own, as she described, then the girl friend wouldn't have any reason to remember this. If Ford was shaken but refused to talk about it, she still probably wouldn't remember.

That's all speculation. I have no idea what happened or didn't happen. I've said that from the beginning.

Keep selling your excuse to tear down a possible sexual assault victim. Bought a week. Maybe a good deal of America just doesn’t want a bullying creep in the SC? He’d be replaced by another righty.

This is so indicative of the right:

Asses believe only the parts of the story they want to believe. That’s why the right always have crazy theories floating around to make them feel better about their disgusting actions and positions. Many of the theories are listed up thread.

Statue of limitations in 1982 was one year says Maryland Authorities but they say they would investigate if a complaint is filed. So we can put the no limitation to rest

Maryland authorities say they'll investigate Kavanaugh -- if a victim files a complaint

But Manger and McCarthy noted that prosecution was unlikely in Maryland because authorities would have to apply the law that existed at the time of the offense, not the law that exists now, Baltimore's FOX 45 News reported.

“For example, in 1982, assault and attempted rape were both misdemeanors and subject to a one-year statute of limitations,” they wrote.

A college friend says he was definitely a heavy drinker in college. She says that she never saw him be aggressive with women but that he didn’t represent himself accurately in the hearing.

    Link

At this point, it definitely seems more likely than not that he told some lies on Thursday.

It’s obvious he lied. Where does it stop? When something like this comes up and you evade and lie about the little things... what’s it say about the big things?

I have said before that there is no way for anyone here to know forbcertainty what happened 35 years ago. From my knowledge of memory it would be remarkable if the woman and Kavanaugh could remember. What I do know is that this has been handled like a political matter. It is being handled to try to keep Trump from getting to appoint another Supreme Court judge. I am still not judging the womans claims but I think if she had not come forward something else would have.

Her best friend does not remember it because :

"Leland Keyser, a friend of Ford, said in a statement that was passed out to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Saturday evening that she does not know Kavanaugh and “has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present,” The Hill reported.

Just because she is a "possible" assault victim does not give her a free pass on examination especially when when she does not know when it happened where it happened how she got there how she left there but she does remember she only had one beer. Sounds like a liar to me

Sounds like Kavanaugh is the liar to me. I bet you thinks so too. In fact. I know it.

Link to Fords lawyer having ties with George Soros First there was a report from June in the Daily Caller that found “a new political advocacy group that vowed to put $5 million behind an effort to stop … Kavanaugh’s confirmation has significant ties to the liberal financier” Soros.

Kavanaugh's accuser and the curious George Soros links

Debra Katz, the attorney representingKavanaugh’s accuser — Christine Blasey Ford — is vice chair of the Project on Government Oversight, an organization that has been directly funded by Soros’ Open Society Foundation.

Katz is also a hefty Democratic donor, giving thousands of dollars over the years to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and other leftist candidates, as Front Page Mag reported.

The sad part about all of this is that if Blasey Ford truly was assaulted in high school, all of the political jockeying by her legal team severely undermines her claims. Even without the jockeying, people would find the timing of the allegations suspicious enough, for obvious reasons. But all the gamesmanship and posturing before the hearing by Katz made it very clear that it was nothing more than a proxy to sink Kavanaugh at any cost. Notice our lefty friends here are very reluctant to discuss that undeniable point. We're supposed to try to assess the credibility of these two, about something that happened 36 years ago and the accuser drops the news at the most politically inopportune time for Kavanaugh, while her legal team attempts to strip him of basic protections we would give the lowliest of defendants under the law. An attempted lynching, easily.

She was seated to Ford's right at the hearing, the one doing all the histrionics.
