Kanaugh didn't lie at all, he stated the truth about all the witnesses. There's no difference in my opinion, if one said that maybe, but all of them pretty much said them same. Ford is the one who lied

Because there are multiple witnesses that said he is a rapist and a liar.

Clearly a fan of alternative facts.

Everything I highlighted was a clear lie. You can try to claim the sky is purple, but it's still blue in this world.

May God be with and protect Kavanaugh and his Family. I’m afraid it’s going to get even worse for them. Leftist thugs won’t stop until they can completely destroy him, his wife, his precious children. Good people don’t deserve the hate they have gotten, and I’m afraid it’s going to get even worse.

Well, no one has corroborated it, that’s true. But also, no one has even been questioned. If her friend in her unofficial statement had said, “yes it happened”, would you be satisfied that it happened? Or would you want her questioned in a more official capacity? Seems like the latter would be appropriate given the weight of the matters.

How can you ask someone about something they don’t remember? Or a person they have said they never met? What is there to question them about if they have no knowledge of an event?

If they do have knowledges an event than there is something to ask about.

Yeah, I mean her best friend, who was supposedly at the party, didn’t even know who Kavanaugh was.

May God be with both families. The Ford family has been on the run with a security detail due to death threats.

It's a very ugly political environment for sure.

So if my best friend is accused of a crime where I’m named as a witness, and I tweet out that I have no memory of this, the police should not even bother to take my statement?

If you submitted a sworn statement through your lawyer that as a witness for the defense, you have no knowledge of the events described over 30 years ago in a case with no physical evidence, I’d be willing to bet the police wouldn’t bother asking your lawyer for an interview.

Hmmm... now I know you don't take it as blanket truth every time somebody says they don't recall or have no recollection of something. Right?

Judge says he doesn't recall. But also doesn't want to testify. And he's a direct witness to the event, per Ford. He should clearly be interviewed under oath. His girl friend reportedly wants to come forward and very likely has pertinent information relayed to him during their relationship. She should be heard as well, IMO.

It will now be ford's civic duty to make all the left wing media rounds, make a crap load of money and probably write a tell all book.

Her family is on the run hiding out from death threats, and this is your response?

Both persons involved and both families are scarred by this event.

Oak - I’ve been extremely clear why Judge was not going to testify at this hearing. He is a provocative conservative writer and the Senate Democrats are dying to get him in front of the committee to call him a racist and a homophobe and then smear Kavanaugh as one for being friends with him.

When a witness for the accuser says they have no knowledge of the crime, what is their to ask them about? These are people who support the accuser but state they have no knowledge of the events the accuser describes.

I’m waiting for someone to say only guilty people should worry about talking to the police. It’s almost time to post the video of the lawyer that talks about why you never talk to the cops without a lawyer.

    I understand your reasoning.

But that doesn't change the fact that he's the only witness to an alleged crime. That is meaningful in this situation, is it not?

Kavanaugh may actually have no recollection of the alleged attack on Blasey Ford. He probably lied through his teeth when he said he was never drunk to the point of blackout.

You're far from the only poster on this board who is doing it, but your post is a prime example of attacking the victim.

He had stated under penalty of perjury that he doesn’t remember the event as described by Dr. Ford. What are you going to ask him that may improve his memory about an accusation of a crime from 30 years ago that has no physical evidence?
