Someone needs to inform Urban Dictionary that a Devil’s Triangle is a quarters game and not a threesome..

Also, it's worth noting that Mark Judge's yearbook inscription says, "Have you boofed yet, BART?" It makes it quite clear that he was referring to Kavanaugh in his book. How can Kavanaugh defend his drinking habits when his own friend has a passage in his book about him barfing and then passing out due to drinking? In his Fox News interview, he should have just admitted that he partied too hard but maintained that he never assaulted anyone.

Not necessarily. I think we all can agree that generally speaking we humans have faulty memories. That we forget or don’t pay attention to, or even misremember mundane details.

This isn’t so for a single traumatic experience where one is far more likely to remember specific details of a sexual or physical assault. Even then some things might be forgotten but not who did something to you (if you know the person) and what they did that traumatized you.

Why would he give them ammo to threaten his nomination by agreeing that this should be dragged out longer? If he says yes, the Democrats wave that around and demand the FBI looks at it. If that was agreed to, then the GOP loses the senate in the election and his window closes. That's simply what the Democrats are after, delay this thing long enough and hope for an electoral victory to stop the nomination altogether. Same thing McConnell pulled with Garland.

I'm just a couple years older than Brett, but back in my day, "devil's triangle" referred to a special part of the female anatomy. Oh, and kids, get offa my lawn.

After Kavanaugh's performance today, here's a good question. If you are a left leaning defendant and he's one of the judges, do you feel Kavanaugh can be impartial?

He's whining like the entitled, rich kid usually does when they get asked tough questions. His statements may play well to the Trump base, but they don't get to vote on his confirmation. And not sure a swing voter like Flake, who is anti-Trump, is going to really like the way Kavanaugh is speaking.

Next Kavanaugh is going to tell us that "SOMF" is the noise you make when snoring after a hard day of Bible study.

When you read his comments leading up to the hearing, it's sad that he thinks he has firm ground to stand on and be sanctimonious.

How does Ford explain not one of her named witnesses remember the people and party that she is referring to?

Flake is spineless. He won't do anything. But no, I would regard him as a partisan. He has no business on SCOTUS.

Here go the Republicans with the grandstanding.

How does Kavanaugh explain three women accusing him of sexual assault and people who knew him from college accusing him of lying?

C'mon. He's submitted to 6 prior FBI investigations.

He doesn't want to submit to this one, because it will be, as it already has been, utterly humiliating to him AND his friends, AND his family, AND his parents, AND his school, AND his Church....

Course you and the cowardly, lynch mob dems already know this in spades, and further know that it will not serve to produce a shred of evidence.

Just embarrassing smut they can use for leverage...and delay delay delay.

Because it was 36 years ago so her GF doesn’t remember. Not unusual. The other two named witnesses sexually assaulted her.

I'd be vaguely willing to buy 1 of the sex references being not about sex. But all of them were seldom used slang rather than their much more common sexual meanings? I'm sorry, but it just doesn't pass the sniff test. He could have just said that he put in stupid sex jokes with his dumb friends in high school that he is embarrassed by and that he was wrong to do so and would never do again. That would have at least had the image of honesty. It makes it harder to believe him on the big stuff when he looks like he is lying on the small stuff.

He referred to the culture of Animal House and in the same breath is trying to act like he and his friends are straight out of the Victorian Era sexually.
