    Put two and two together. Judge admitted to the behavior that the third accuser swore under oath he and Kavanaugh were committing.

    Can someone provide a non-twitter link to Avanetti's statement or a screen shot of the affidavit?

    You left off the ending so I am going to fix it for you:

    "Gator_Lawyer: Thank you for your comments Judge Kavanaugh; you're guilty."

    Read it more carefully. No she didn't. She said she was raped, and Kavanaugh was at the party where it happened.

    It's very bombshell-y at first, somewhat less so (with respect to Kavanaugh) with subsequent readings.

    Even if we're talking Jameis Winston, I don't want to have to make leaps and assumptions about his guilt. This still boils down to the 3rd accuser's word against a fleet of Kavanaugh's associates who say he was nothing like this. Judge being a drunkard and party animal doesn't make Kavanaugh guilty of this accusation.

    Yeah, I guess the part where she accuses the two of them of drugging women, waiting for their turn to rape them, and being involved in her rape isn't very bombshell-y.
    (It appears to me that she was incapacitated, so she doesn't know with 100% certainty if they raped her, but the implication is from their past conduct that she believes they were involved. Regardless, the past conduct is more than significant enough to be an atomic bomb.)

    No. She claims she was raped though. So it doesn't matter how old she was.

    Thank you for correcting your statement that "she was raped" to "she claims she was raped."

    We've gone from unwanted groping on a bed at a party to BK supposedly being a regular participant in gang rapes and trains ran on women in inebriated states. And yet nobody bothered mentioning any of this until 11:59pm of the most contentious SCOTUS nomination fight ever. Amazing.... even if somehow true... that's pretty amazing.

    That's what I mean about reading it more carefully. Because she doesn't actually make most of those accusations with respect to Kavanaugh.

    The accusations with respect to him are that:
    1. She saw him try to spike punch;
    2. She saw him "grind" on girls;
    3. She recalls seeing him standing in a line in a hallway; and
    4. He was "present" at the party where she was raped.

    Please explain to your friend that you know I have a substantial disdain for politicians of any affiliation. Just a bit more disdain for ones like those than others.

    Read the edit. There's an implication that she believes he was involved in her rape. She sets it up by accusing him of the behavior that later happened to her. She says she was incapacitated. That indicates to me that she can't say with certainty because she was drugged but believes he and Judge were two of the men who raped her.

    It's an atomic bomb. Even if you want to say, "Well, she can't say with certainty he raped her." The other behavior she describes paints him as a liar and lends credence to the other accusers. And as I said earlier, her story matches with the blurb in the New Yorker article on Judge (including what he told his ex-GF).

    I'm sure there will be calls to postpone tomorrow's hearing based on this.

    FYI - Public Trust is not really a clearance. They basically finger print you and run a background check to make sure you haven't committed any crimes. We have someone getting one of those this week.

    Other than the Stanford swimmer, don’t all allegations of rape start with the claim that the rape occurred.

    Whether they raped her or not isn’t the headline....yet. And no, I’m not downplaying rape, I have a daughter who escaped an attempted assault at a frat house.

    Here’s the issue. Him identified as being there and drugging women completely undercuts his commentary of the entire last week and needs to be investigated immediately. And the two women she allegedly told shortly after need to come forth, unless Avenatti already has their statements and is waiting for a response to drop them.

    This is a horrible look for Kavanaugh either way.
