You have prejudged a woman who accuses a nominee to the Supreme Court of sexual assault and is going to have to testify about it before the entire country. And, you accuse me, and presumably the others here, of not caring? I have advocated a proper investigation before there is a hearing. You are so blinded by your right wing perspective in identifying the “bad people on both sides” that you totally missed the point. There were no good people marching with the Nazis. I get that you can’t grasp the outrage in the statement that there were “good people” marching with the Neo Nazis. So, let me explain it to you. Every person in that Nazi march was, and is, bad. Every single one. No exceptions.

They haven’t even tried. You have prejudged based on your political beliefs. No different than the Mueller investigation. The fact of investigation is a “witch hunt.” Politics determine credibility.
Because they investigated Cosby and women felt comfortable coming forward years later. This has been prejudged. When the President and Senate Manority leader calls it a left wing conspiracy or political without an investigation and before the testimony, that says it all.
Similarly, the victims of inappropriate sexual behavior by Roman Catholic priests did not come forward for decades and although the offending priests were never charged the Church ended up paying many millions of dollars in civil damages to the victims. Edit: Not really off-topic since the subject of reporting the incident decades after the fact was cited by a number of posters attempting to discredit Blasey Ford.
The part that makes me think he is lying about all of it: he is claiming that he quickly kissed her and then decided to put that in his yearbook. Because that quick kiss was worth making it into a 1980s yearbook at a rich prep school by a football player. Everybody that did that is acting like it was from Victorian times. Innocent dances and dates. I wonder if a couple of them saw her ankle once.
One person here isn’t telling the truth. One of them has led an exemplary, very successful life. Very, very highly regarded by the overwhelming number of people who know him. Hard to find a negative comment about him. A man of faith who coaches youth sports, feeds the homeless, and is a strong pillar in his community. The other is a person who cannot recall the location, date, or time of the occurrence of her accusation. Waits 36 years to report the supposed event. Of all of the witnesses that she has named to have been there they either do not recall being at described party or have no knowledge of said incident if they were. She has also hired a notoriously partisan “attorney” with well known ties to high ranking Democrats. Find 10 independent people who do not know have not watched or heard any news in 6 months and I bet that at least 8 of them would side with Kavanaugh.

The White House refuses to let the FBI investigate, Congess will not ask for the FBI to do, and the President, Republican Senators and their base— you included— have already made up theor minds. Kangaroo hearing designed to humiliate the accuser, not get at the truth. Apparently, Dr. Ford may back out given McConnell’s comments today. She should.
