That would happen if Republican leaders would take the lead on doing it, but they choose to govern out of fear than with honor and humanity.

Can only influence at most 20-50 people in our lives. Have to start there. It an impossible and catatonic approach to wish the other side did their part. I get your point though.

Seems like y'all leftists are getting quite unruly. Mobs taking over old folks homes, now restaurants.
I won't be too angry as long as you keep away from my titty bars.

The left isn’t going to protest outside a strip club, or give a stripper a hard time for giving Kavanaugh a lap dance. However the right gets the clubs shut down.

Kavanaugh wanted to put something inside his body of his choice and enjoy it. Other people didn't allow him to and gave him a rough time about it.

    Sounds about right.

If Kagan or Sotomeyer were harassed like this, the liberal posters here would be crying and lobbying for new laws to protect them.

Case in point - all the crying when Brown Jackson was just questioned at her confirmation hearings.

I absolutely do not condone or agree with protesting a public official in a public restaurant during a meal.

However, I saw a fitting tweet that said words to the effect:

I’m not sure why Kavanaugh is so upset. He can go to another city to eat at Morton’s without protests.

Sure is, I don’t recall any conservatives “peacefully protesting” in front of Kagan or Sotomeyer’s house when they were confirmed or harassing them in public after they were confirmed.

    Do you?

I don't approve of protesting outside of the homes of Supreme Court justices. That being said I do not recall either Kagan or Sotomayor voting to overturn a long standing precedent, a vote that resulted in the restriction of an individual right protected over the previous 50 years after implicitly promising that they wouldn't do so prior to their confirmations.

When they vote to take away rights, or lie to Congress I fully expect them to receive the same treatment.

Why would conservatives protest a liberal justice? The last time there was a liberal court was 53 years ago.

    How old are you?

Got to love the right wing victimhood. Poor Kavanaugh lost his right to a peaceful meal and had to sneak into a back ally just like the women he condemned to back allys. [IMG]

This country is heading to dark places. Threads like this remind me who the bad guys are.

I have repeatedly condemned January 6th, and frankly any and all cases of conservative harassment and violence. This sort of stuff is poo-pooed by the left at best (Summer of Love), and actively encouraged at worst (see this thread).

Don't believe me, just spend enough time on Too Hot and see for yourself.

People encouraging this don't have the ability to look two steps ahead and think of the implications when things escalate and the shoe is on the other foot. And it's only a matter of time before that happens, and when it does, people remember things like this.

I know, right. Nonviolent protesting outside a restaurant is awful.
