    …. at Penn State. ‍♂️

kidding aside, this tweet lends some credibility to those who think it’s important.

    flip the camera!

Hell, if you are part of the Penn State basketball fan base you need to do stuff like this.

Of course Andy Katz is a total zero to start with.

    Andy Katz is an idiot.

Normally he hates the Gators but last year he said preseason that we had a good chance to make the Final Four.

    He knows very little.

I don't see the relevancy of ad hominem arguments in response to aka's post. Lesser school or "man who said it is an idiot" are both logical fallacies. Who would not want the cameras flipped to capture the Rowdy Reptile enthusiasm on TV?

A shot of the Rowdys texting on their phones is not a good look.

The broadcast always needs to show the 2 benches and the scorers table. So, the Rowdies would have to be behind them. This would require more than just flipping the cameras. Either the benches and scorers table would have to move to the other side, or the Rowdies would have to move to the other side. Neither seems possible.

I know Jack. It has been discussed a lot here for a few years at least. Aspiration never the less.

Duke apparently didn’t get this message. Neither did Auburn.
    Nor Kansas. Or several others….

If I recall correctly, we were always seeing Coach K and Bruce Pearl on the sidelines. We’re those just road games?

The cameras broadcast over the back of the benches, with the student sections in the background.

    For example….

Good point. I'm not sure they even deserve the "Rowdy Reptiles" moniker any more. That said, the worse look is that of alumni sitting on their hands.

even worse than “sitting on their hands”, are the optics of empty seats ….. due to those fans watching the game from the lounge.

To get a good view of that watch a Kentucky game from Lexington. Those dudes that pay a fortune for tickets and another fortune to get the good seats sit there and do nothing.

    This is a good thread.

If you want home court advantage and want TV to show enthusiasm for the game all you need to do is move half of the student section behind the visitors bench, just where it should be. I've had fun there and seen it work magic. Shouldn't cost a dime.
