Of course this is a problem for Harris, because she now has to explain why she and Biden stopped all wall construction on day 1 of his administration via executive order and now she is for it. She has to acknowledge her own policy exacerbated the migrant crisis and why she fought so hard against something she now apparently supports. She is not going to be able to explain her way out of it and it was a dumb move anyway, because she is not going to sway any independents or moderates by adopting a MAGA policy.

The wall contracts noted above were 100% a political product. They were the central tenet of the campaign FFS, then they awarded no bid contracts to a Trump donor to build it. Of course nobody expects Trump to be involved in the “engineering”. Does anyone expect Trump to have professional work product??? What’s next, not his fault unless he was out there actually physically building it?
