This is a home game. Any eligible athlete can dress.

The home team may dress all eligible student-athletes in uniform, but only 80 student-athletes may participate in a Conference contest. (The non-participating student-athletes shall dress out at no additional cost to the institution. Non- participating student-athletes shall not receive pre-game meals, overnight lodging or additional game tickets, but may receive a post-game meal provided the post-game meal is served at the stadium. No cash stipend may be provided to non-participating student-athletes for post-game meals away from the stadium.)
The visiting team is limited to a travel squad size of 70 eligible student-athletes.
The squad size limit for neutral site games (no more than one game annually) is 70 eligible student-athletes for both participating teams.
The squad size for junior varsity teams is 55 eligible student-athletes.

It's 80 players... but it should be 85 players that can travel.

Is that where they send the disgruntled toys? I hope there’s- better explanation and it’s all good.

 

If Wilson didn't make the 80 man home "travel roster", do we expect to see him dressed out in any SEC games including Vandy?

 

CBN said Kamari didn't make the 80-man travel roster (I guess for the Friday night local Hotel) - he clearly would make the 80-man roster even if passed-up on the depth chart. Something else is definitely up with this situation.

 

Yep. I don’t even know if we are at 85 scholarships, but if we are, I don’t think he should be in the bottom 5. Billy was tight lipped about the details.

 

Bear in mind we dress double digit walkons every week

 

From what I understand, it was up to him to dress and make it to the stadium in time even if he wasn’t part of the travel roster. He didn’t show up for warmups and then walked onto the field in street clothes during the game and was quickly escorted off by our speed coach.

 

He is not handling adversity very well.

 

But I bet he got a sweet NIL deal!! (Said dripping with sarcasm)

Hard to say being we have zero knowledge of why. Rumors of big head syndrome or some type of problems are not verified by anyone. The only thing we truly know is he got beat out and he didn’t dress. I’d think theres more to it but hopefully it gets worked out. Not being on time after not being in the 80 doesn’t look good.

 

Right. If you lose your job and transfer, this isn’t the way to do it. As much as I don’t like Dion, he said Cormani is keeping Cormani off the field. Players have to know who the boss is. My way or tge highway baby.

 

Someone said he was hanging out somewhere where he shouldn’t have been. Who knows?

 

I'm guessing not being on time for the game was not welcomed by the coaching staff, and maybe a final straw. All speculation, of course, but doesn't sound like this will be an amicable outcome for either party and simply time to move on.

 

This is like one of those relationship breakups that you can see coming from a mile away with one of your friends, yet it still unfolds in slow motion because one or both sides don't want to admit its over.

The relationship either needs to be officially terminated, or he needs to be put on a goal-based return plan and be left out of team activities until he completes it. Because either way, this is a distraction the team doesn't need right now going into SEC play.
