James consistently says the routes are pedestrian and unimaginative. We have added some mesh concepts since the beginning of the year. Last week we ran a TE up the field under Pearsall and it allowed the deep corner to play both and he got the breakup. James says the run game is 2030’s and the passing game is 1980’s. Why is the million dollar question.
Maybe he's mad because we lost? Plenty of people on this board are mad for that reason. Sorry, but I'm not going to indulge in speculation about what is going through the mind of a 19 year old, and whether they are even remotely correct in their opinions. Giving the finger to your team and school would suggest that perhaps he is not emotionally under control. But indulge your fantasies about the wisdom of college kids.
Terry Jackson’s one if my favorite players. Not sure what’s going on, but dude needs to think about the big picture before posting dumb shit
Does it really matter? Giving the finger to your teammates and university on the internet says adios to me.
I'm not giving up on anyone. I'm saying a player that gives the finger to his university and teammates after a tough loss, is the quitter. Come on.
I mean, probably because we have an OL coach as OC. That said, I don't really care that the passing game isn't the podcast guy's favorite. You can see that there are plays there to be made every week and the calls are sound if not inventive. Play design is not holding us back right now.
Actually he does say that too. Guys ARE open. He is pretty adamant about certain pass game concepts but he’s a fair play guy too. I believe his take is adjustments like the TE route would make it easier for AR, as that guy was successfully put in a 2 on 1 spot but the routes allowed him to not have to choose one.
He needs to be dismissed from the team. If this is the best way he can express disappointment then he should not be on the team any longer.
Have to respect Lingard’s grit & determination! I used to tell my kids, If you have a problem & are looking for someone to blame, try the mirror!
I think the rest of the NCAA assumed it was really the porta potty. No one may take him with that attitude.
