I think comparing all of Oliver's over all work to an INCOMPLETE Kahleil Jackson's work is premature...

Jackson has many more games to prove his place in Gator history, while Oliver's was great, it's also done... not Jackson.

The point is, we know Oliver was great. So far, Kahleil has performed outstandingly, but stating what you stated is premature as well and just speculation. By Oliver's third season he had a history, while Kahleil has very little with most coming very recently. I hope he has a career as good as Louis did, and if it's better, then fantastic and kudos to you for stating so this early in his career.

    Okay, gotcha...

Has a chance... maybe I misstated that part. He's off to a good start...

I hope he does well becasue if he does well so does the GATORS' offense.

I think he's had some incredible catches this season. In fact, he had two of them against South Carolina. I will say, kids from Gainesville have rarely, if ever, let us down in Orange and Blue. From Willie and Terry, to Chris, to Travis, to Ian Scott, and probably others, to hopefully Kahleil. Can even go back as far as Kim Helton in the sixties, too.

I noticed that too... the Gainesville kids are for real.

Jackson is just scratching the surface of what he can do. That's the exciting part of his development.

Right now there are NOT enough footballs to go around. But I do think he will one day be as clutch as any receiver we have had in a while.

He's a RS-sophomore... so technically he he still has 2 1/2 more years to play. That is the most exciting part to know.

The angle of the lean is perfectly in sync with the rest of the picture.

A positive comment was made about Kahleil speed. YES he is fast. Je also has great hands.

More over, he has the moves that separates the defense literally out of their jock straps! The videos of him on this tread are really show case his moves.

You sure Nat Moore was a walkon?
I know he came in as a junior, but thought he was a scholarship player based on his JC coach's recommendation.

Either way, I was a big fan. Still recall the cheer
    " 1,2,3,4
give that ball to Nat Moore"

If I remember correctly, he walked on and was given a scholarship pretty quickly. That was over 50 years ago, so I may not remember it accurately.:)

He IS the football version of Taurean Green, although Green was always a scholarship player. He had a nice background and wanted to play where he wanted to play, scholarship or not. You have a different concept of things when you have been around elite-caliber football all your life (or basketball with Green).

I’ve flat sure seen some leave town for another school and come back and hurt UF. Zow at Bama and the running back that I think went to Vandy. And watching Clinton Portis at UM…

I meant the ones that stayed home and played for us. Agree on the others.

I get what you meant. It just made me think of those. 100% agree there’s been some great home-town Gators. And I’d even include someone like Mike Peterson from Santa Fe.

Don't think he really panned out for us like all the previously mentioned did.

He played JUCO hoops down in Miami before coming to UF. Started off as a RB.
