Dangerous league. Kids a baller for sure. Seems like the best players, ones that have seldom been hurt go to the pros and get mangled.

I hope he has a great career...

    Go Gators.

As a Giants fan there was talk about whether he was misleading about his hamstring injury. For games he was supposedly healthy, he barely played.
This is good trade to get rid of a disgruntled player. On another team he’d have high numbers. But given that it’s KC, he’ll be lucky to be the 4th receiver.

Injury prone. Can’t stay on field or be relied upon. Missed over half games the past 2 years. Also, not passionate about football away from field. Some on Giants felt he did not keep himself is shape or top condition during the non-season leading to all these hamstring injuries when starting practicing with team. Football has to be year round.

At least they don't have an 89 on the roster so his tattoo can still match

Does he have any college eligibility left? There might be some NIL money laying around.

But even as a fourth receiver, that's still better than being number 1 or 2 for the Giants. The Giants are near the bottom of the league for pass attempts and with good reason. Jones is great with his legs and they are winning like that, but they don't need him to be anything more than a runner with some passes thrown in here and there.

He's dynamic when healthy and could be electric on the Chiefs because defenses have no choice but to single cover him given all their weapons. He could easily be a poor man's Tyreek Hill with his game changing ability.

(Toney) joins a wide receiver room in Kansas City that was revamped in the offseason after Tyreek Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins. JuJu Smith-Schuster (494 yards) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (369 yards) were added in free agency and are ranked second and third in receiving yards for the Chiefs this season, behind star tight end Travis Kelce (553 yards).

The Chiefs appear set with their top three receivers for the remainder of this season. Smith-Schuster and Valdes-Scantling each went over 100 yards and Mecole Hardman scored three touchdowns in Sunday's
victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Chiefs acquire Giants WR Toney for two picks

2nd Chance for Toney. He didn't have the 'want to' with the Giants. If he chooses to be the best he can be, he could be a great player. It's really all up to him at this point. I followed him in his limited time with the Giants. His upcoming tenure with the Chiefs is a mystery going forward. I hope he chooses to be all in because he is a fun player to watch.

This is a good thing for Toney. Who doesn't want Patrick Mahomes throwing to you. Hopefully we will see the 2020 version of Toney at KC

Weird move given they have Hardmon and just drafted Moore.

I am not sure this is correct, although I am not up to snuff on all things Giants. It seems to me he is a kind of a "RG3" player, who looks damn good in college but relies on a level of athletic dynamic to succeed that does not exist in the NFL. And so their small stature gets them in a LOT of trouble. But if there is a team who can use his skills before he may end up getting injured, the Chiefs are about on the top of the heap.

He made some explosive plays as a Giant. So he's got the skills. He's been off the field because he can't stay healthy. And he's missed practices and meetings. Either his body doesn't have the "want to" or his brain doesn't.

RG3 makes no sense as a comparison. Toney is more like a Tavon Austin, a jitterbug who doesn't have a real position and seems like a better idea in your head than on the field.
