The middle ground is supposed to be federal law. That’s why the elections clause reserves congress the right to make exceptions to state election laws. If a state court does something that runs afoul of one of those exceptions, a federal court has jurisdiction to address the issue.

Another step toward stealing the 2024 election . . . . Trump thugs are forcing honest election officials out of office with LIES, insults, abuse and their specialty, threats of violence. If honest officials fear for their lives, they will be replaced by dishonest sycophants who will do Trump's bidding.

This is the America that Trump and his thugs want. Crap like this is happening all across the country. Like Germany in the 30s. Authoritarian rule under der leader.

Those who still support this POS should be ashamed of themselves.

They finally have a chance to overrule Maybury v Madison and return the right to interpret law to the legislatures. Perhaps we will read that Marbury was egregiously wrong when it was decided.

Like I said above. An egregiously wrong decision from the day John Marshall wrote it.

Some compelling thoughts on the coming controversy over the Independent State Legislature theory.

The Guarantee Clause: Art. IV, Section IV of the Constitution:

the United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government"

If states are so gerrymandered that legislatures feel safe in overturning the popular vote, then is this clause in the constitution being violated? A Twitter string from David Pepper:
