Judge delays sentencing in Trump's New York criminal case, pushing decision past election

    The judges aren't going to establish a new precedent with a former POTUS, which hasn't ever been applied (or anything close to it) to any other defendant in the state before. I get it, you're never Trump and you don't want to admit the entire case was a politically motivated farce from the start, but you might as well do it now before the appeals court issues the scathing reversal.

    I've actually listened to enough SCOTUS arguments and then tracked the outcome in the case to know you do not assume that the questions during oral arguments are a true signal of the how the case will be decided. I've already said I think it is better than 50-50 that the Appeals Court rules for Trump.
