Joshua Moore Commits to UF

We got the talent to be a great team - all we need is enough time for experience to factor in. We need to win more than we lose this season and this could really get rolling. We don’t seem to have a flash in the pan culture building. Napier is doing it the patient, sustainable way. Go Gators

 

Still some growing pains ahead but moving in the right direction. I’m starting to like our roster and it looks a couple years away to me as to when these guys will shine.

 

Moore and VB111, what a duo. Our receiver room is going to be sick for Lagway. We’ve got to get that Great Wall built again. It could be a pretty scary offense.

 

You feel that if we have a better than expected season that the class will finish well?

 

Everyone is a free agent 365 24/7. If the fan base and big money donors are confident the NIL will flow.

Is that his way of saying staff still needs to show him what they can do on the field or that other $$$ offers will still be considered? Maybe both.

 

I’d really like to know the context in which he made this statement. Odd thing to say on the heels of announcing your “commitment “

 

When he committed he said he wanted to see what happens on the field and with the coaching staff.
Something along those lines. Inferring that if team tanks and or coaches are canned he likely looks around.

similar to many players who did NOT commit to UF but said they want to see how they play On the field.

guessing he’s just being open and honest about how he feels if Napier moves on.

After all the good news we’ve been sharing regarding recruiting and coaching additions and other things he’s doing right, there is no “nice way” of talking about Napier getting “canned” less that 2 months before the first game of the season. Nor is it in any way appropriate.
