...at raising dogs. At this point I can't tell whether he is worse at raising dogs or kids. Hunter is a disaster but at least he isn't out biting and attacking 10 secret service agents like Commander. Major, the previous first dog, has already been court marshalled from being a White House dog for aggressiveness. I bet there is some shady stuff on the dogs' laptops too. What the actual F Joe?

Biden's dog Commander bit Secret Service officers, records show | whas11.com

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden 's dog Commander bit or otherwise attacked Secret Service personnel at least 10 times between October 2022 and January, including one incident that required a hospital visit by the injured law enforcement officer, according to records from the Department of Homeland Security.

The conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch on Tuesday released nearly 200 pages of Secret Service records that it obtained through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.

Commander is the second dog of Biden's to behave aggressively, including biting Secret Service personnel and White House staff. They eventually sent the dog, a German shepherd named Major, to live with friends in Delaware after those incidents.

German Shepherds are notoriously protective as guard dogs. It's practically a standard breed characteristic. I imagine the White House is a very stressful environment for dogs with naturally strong protective and territorial instincts, what with constant flows of different people at different times. Those dogs are probably always at a high stress and threat level.

I agree that it's irresponsible at this point to have these dogs around official locales given their history; should have been obvious changes were needed after the second bite (at the very latest) for each dog. Leave them in a calmer home or environment with less turmoil and constant change of pace and faces.

Joe should not have to do it cuz Trump already did cured cancer and aids. I mean we all know he was reelected.

Best dog we ever had was a female GS. Solid black with a deep menacing bark. A real sweetheart to other people, not aggressive beyond her bark, well trained to my voice commands, loved everyone but most people were not eager to approach my wife or I when they saw her, particularly if she were staring at them with her ears up. Most GS owners are as loyal to the breed as the dogs are to them. Her ashes are in our front yard and her portrait is on the wall. Truly an awesome dog.

Remember those SS agents that deleted all their 1/6 texts? Maybe his dogs are sniffing out Trumpy agents with bad intent towards their Dad.

    Bite me once……..

Dog should have been moved back to Delaware after the first attack, esp given the issues with the first dog.

Any one of us has a dog that attacks people 10 times at work, that dog is absconded and put down.

Apparently the dog takes after Biden, who has been seen at least once trying to bite children.

Or maybe Biden takes after the dog.

Had a rotty/shepherd mix that was the kindest, gentlest dog I've ever seen. Had him for 14 years and only twice did I see him get upset. Both times when my youngest was still in diapers, and she felt scared. Once by another dog, another time at a playground. Otherwise, he was a giant teddy bear.

When we lost him, we got a German shepherd rescue, who unfortunately just passed away about two months ago after 10 years. Another overgrown teddy bear, who had a bit more bark and bite than my first dog. Would bite when he got stressed and felt uncomfortable. Agreed that while shepherds are awesome dogs, not sure if the stress and pressure of living in the White House is best for a shepherd as a pet.

Not sure if/when we'll get another. Our cat is now 17 and lived with both dogs. Not sure he would handle a puppy at this point.
