Unless I missed it Lunden Roberts never said that she tried to contact Joe and/or Jill Biden for the purpose of arranging a meeting between the Bidens and her daughter. It works both ways.

Obviously, we don't know what efforts the Bidens or Ms. Roberts has made to get them all together. I would hope the Bidens reached out somehow. It'd be disappointing if they didn't.

Really not sure how persuasive you think this is going to be for people who have already decided to vote for Biden. I mean, turn the map around. Given Trump’s character, I have no problem believing that he has illegitimate children out there he has managed to keep quiet; no further problem believing some of them have children, legitimate or otherwise; and no further problem believing he has provided no more assistance than absolutely necessary to keep it quiet and hasn’t met them. Let’s just say there is a grandchild out there whom Trump has not met. Do you care enough to change your vote?

 

I’ve thought I made it clear he’s not my boy. I will never vote for him because of Afghanistan. I just know too much. I merely think you would not be persuaded if this was a thread about Trump, so I don’t know why you think you have a zinger here that will make Biden voters change their minds.

 

Yeah, I agree. I put it more on the scumbag father than the grandfather, and if there’s any cosmic justice, then they’ll both answer for it someday. I just don’t think this will sway any appreciable number of voters, and I would say the same thing if we were talking about Trump.
