Biden’s policy is being driven largely by Michigan and its Arab vote, not by a deputy assistant to anything. He came out strongly in favor of Israel, lost 5 or ten points there and then recalibrated. So if anything, his policy is being driven by his pollsters.

It’s not at all impeachable, there’s a very sound case to be made that blind support of Israel harms us in a multitude of ways. It just happens to be Biden’s most expedient political path I also think we have to get past the phase we are in now where everything someone does seems to lead to impeachment calls. None of these go anywhere and just degrade our democracy.

I have serious misgivings regarding Biden's decision but it's no more an impeachable offense than Reagan's decision to the same in 1982 or Eisenhower's decision in 1956.
Biden has certainly very publicly emboldened Hamas with his very public admonishments to Israel. Biden went very public for one reason- to try and stop the polling disaster this month, and it is backfiring.
