The Bush family were great friends with the Hinckley's... if Hinckley would have succeeded then GHWB would have been president. GHWB was also once the head of the CIA... see a pattern.

Let me back up. The CIA was pushing for the war clearly, but it's likely only 2 or 3 were actually involved with the assassination and they were likely at the top of the food chain. The CIA's desire to go to war put it at odds with Kennedy. So while I seriously doubt the entire CIA knew about the assassination in advance, their superiors were the ones beating the drum to go to war, which is what led to the assassination. The CIA has attempted to slow-walk the release of the Kennedy documents from the get go.

I think Johnson was complicit as well. If you listen to the Johnson-McNamara tapes, you can see how each one would casually infer an action (Vietnam) to each other without coming right out and saying it. Like Johnson strongly inferred to McNamara that they should show some backbone in the Gulf of Tonkin and send up another patrol unit the next day. Even though they both knew the US was already carrying out covert air raids over North Vietnam and were the provocateurs in the situation. They both assumed that 2nd patrol mission would likely come under attack (even though it didn't). Pretty shady, cold-blooded stuff. Listen to those tapes and you'll start to see that era for what it was.

There are too many one-offs about the Kennedy assassination that would never fly today. The CIA actively sought to suppress information about it, why? The more time passes, the less people know, the less it's talked about.

It's either a very small world or we're just very unlucky as a nation. But I believe Reagan would have snuffed it out if there was anything there. JFK never got that opportunity and we never got the opportunity to hear from the supposed lone gunman.

With a very small amount of intellectual curiosity and attendant sentience, the facts surrounding the claim that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin of JFK is absolutely preposterous. That territory can be easily covered by even a quick review of YouTube videos on the subject. Simply stated, Oswald was a patsy, who was CIA and was but a sacrificial lamb. Acquaint yourself with the surrounding details, and it was truly a rather massive alphabet company undertaking. This was a military coup d'état and the Warren Commission was a simple mask to keep the American people from the truth. Look no further than the fact that LBJ picked Dulles to be one of the seven commissioners, who was fired by JFK for the Bay of Pigs, and who essentially guided the undertaking. Couple that with Jack Ruby's murder of Oswald on television two days later and examine his extensive CIA ties and you really have an uncontestable conclusion. Ruby had to kill Oswald before any public discussion in which Oswald would be able to point out the absolute truth of the nature of his set up.

This is not just the CIA, but the FBI and all the other alphabet companies, who are doing the bidding for the true powers that control absolutely this country irrespective of who the American public elects. This bureaucracy is so deep and dark they could care less about who the elected officials are in all branches of our government. This is the Deep State that was previously politically agnostic. With only a bit of intellectual honesty, an individual with an IQ over 90, who can read and does not isolate that reading to the politicized press, can view this rather quickly. All of this is so in your face that the conclusion is inescapable.

If you can bear to open your mind, you need to only look as far as the Trump take down. As Schumer predicted, the alphabet boys and girls commenced their work before he was elected. The 3 years of ludicrous waste in Russia Gate has been soundly exposed by the completely and intentionally overlooked Durham report. Our politicized press is yet another vehicle, but a major one, of the Deep State.

The Deep State is far from a small group of folks. It is a large bureaucratic monstrosity that plays on the stupidity and laziness of the American public. As Robert Kennedy stated,"this country needs a quiet overthrow of this illicit force". Perhaps, then we can commence a new era, where we are not thrown into idiotic wars incessantly, feeding the powers of the Deep State. Of course, this was the first bureaucracy, which Dwight Eisenhower warned and admonished.

Are you putting your money where your mouth is or are you just as lazy as anyone else lol? And please dont give me "the first step is consciousness raising" you'll sound like every Marxist who wonders why the working class is too stupid to overthrow capitalism.

Comrade Trump is apparently his “deep state fighter”.

JFK was assassinated 60 years ago. Even if one suspects a broader conspiracy relating to JFK, it’s a fascinating mindset to view that as one rolling conspiracy leading up to…drumroll please… Donald Trump. Seems there’s a massive gap in logic here - how many players from JFK are still alive? Hell how many of them had adult children in govt who are still alive? You are talking not just deep state conspiracy, but multigenerational deep state conspiracy. Who are the players right now? Smells like QANON type bullshit.

Nobody would argue there isn’t a shit ton of corruption from “alphabet companies” (presumably by this he means large big cap corporations) paying $$$ to influence those inside govt. There will always, always be corruption in government. Any form of government. It’s called human nature. There are serious things we can do to at least try and approach corruption. Going on about a “deep state” is actually counterproductive, if not deranged. Not that there is any doubt about this when their “champion” is Donald Trump.

Don't mean go down a different rabbit hole, but JFK never made it "abundantly clear" that he would vacate Vietnam. That is simply not true and another component of this conspiracy that is false. He made a number of statements that completely counter that theory and that is a fact. At a high level he did not want to be the President that lost Vietnam, especially after what had happened in Korea and the more recent loss of a neutral Laos. Kennedy was absolutely committed to Vietnam, as he felt it was the one country in SE Asia that, with US aid, could withstand the communists advance.

It doesn't matter how many are still alive. An institution will protect itself, regardless of who's living and who's dead. That's what the CIA is doing in withholding documents in defiance of the law and with the blessing or acquiecence of two successive presidents. A key CIA operative who is a subject of the still withheld documents is George Joannides. He's been dead for 33 years. The CIA is not protecting Joannides, it is protecting itself as an institution.

Yep, @BLING did an excellent job of explaining why the CIA should have no problem with releasing all the documents 60 years later.

Kennedy signed an NSD in October 1963 to remove all US troops and advisors from Vietnam by 1965. We don't have to guess what his thoughts were on Vietnam before his death, it's in the NSD. Furthermore, he did this with full knowledge that Diem would likely not hang on to power in Saigon much longer.
