Eisenhower's admonition regarding the nefarious nature of the US Industrial Defense Complex has become compelling evidence that since the coup d'état which was the assassination of John F Kennedy by the CIA, the U.S. has been ruled by devious forces that constitute the "Deep State" or the alphabet companies. As we observe, in real time, the morass and absurdity created by the toxic combination of untouchable social media, big tech, big corporate wizardry and the Industrial Defense Complex combined with the push of the beholdened press, it is readily apparent that under the current paradigm the "President" plays only a bit part (Say it ain't so, Joe).

All of the Populist Presidents have either been assassinated (JFK), forced out of office (Dick Nixon!), marginalized (RR) or blown up (DT). As Senator Schumer telegraphed to an unknowing DT on January 6, 2017, the dark forces of US intelligence will get you six ways to Sunday! As it turns out, the two Bush's were willing participants from the get-go and Daddy Bush was in lockstep with the Dulles brothers, who were allowed to permeate Eisenhower's administration because he was a military man, and not familiar with the political apparatus that he supposedly controlled.

This is absolutely not about political parties. These nefarious forces that control your every move and are about to double down, and call every shot. Every President since JFK has been nothing but a puppet, whether or not they were aware. LBJ was absolutely complicit, and while he may not have played a direct role in becoming the next President after JFK, he had full knowledge that it was in motion, orchestrated by these dystopian forces, that he dared not tempt by opposition and which he happily accepted (Come on Bobby). Even those who may have become one we're dealt with summarily (see RFK)

Buy into the "conspiracy theory" defense, ironically coined during the JFK debacle by the CIA, and you constitute nothing more than a useful idiot. We no longer research or read what is written and is directly in front of our own eyes. Sadly, we have become a country ruled by our own stupidity and laziness.

Because this political chicanery has become so patently absurd, there exists an opportunity to be taken by the citizens of the US (of both and all parties). That is to face up to the absolute corruption that has become our government (the metastasized big state) and throw it out and begin the new paradigm that can unify our country, and begin the cure. We can only pray! God bless!

Well, from what I've seen of the assclowns in congress & the executive branch, I take comfort in knowing we've got a deep state running things.

Donald Trump was blown up? (Was it like when they blow up one of those beached whales?)

    (Also, JFK/Nixon/Reagan were populists? LMAO)

Jack Ruby was the clincher. The CIA was familiar with Oswald for years, given that he was a former Marine who defected to the Soviet Union for two and a half years and moved back to the States. And we know LBJ hated Kennedy and we know LBJ was a cold-hearted lying murderer. It also happened to take place on Johnson's turf and the coroner in Dallas was not allowed to do an autopsy.

It's one thing to dismiss Harvey as a loner, Communist sympathizer who did it for attention. But then you have to make a lot of assumptions to explain Jack Ruby. Not just his flimsy motive, but the lack of security around Oswald. Given everything that came out about the government in the 1960's, I'm still puzzled people have such a hard time believing they would assassinate a president. Kennedy signed a NSD a few weeks before he was shot to remove troops/advisors from Vietnam after he found out some American servicemen had been killed over there. While he didn't want the Communists to succeed in South Vietnam, he clearly did not want US troop involvement. Not long after as he was shot, we began provocative missions against North Vietnam, which led to the Gulf of Tonkin incident and the rest is very sad history.

Republicans are in love with RFK Jr now. We’ve come full circle.

The Qanon people think some guy is JFK Jr reincarnated or something, its pretty weird. I think its just a boomer thing, lots of those people were probably idealistic liberals when they were younger. Its their version of a big tent or something.

Dude I am a boomer, at least by most accounts. But you aren’t totally wrong.

I tend to think social media and media in general has overwhelmed much of my generation. The world is changing much faster than boomers can adapt to it. The younger generation, for better and for worse has grown up with it.

I mean technically you could have been born after JFK was dead and be a boomer (cut off is '64). I was applying that to people who actually remember JFK and felt something about him and America at that time, older boomers I guess. I guess he predates the counterculture, so he is kind of a unifier in that regard too, he's from a time before hippies and free love.

They're not in love with him, I think they're using him. They want him to run as a third party candidate, which could take enough votes away from Biden to give us their cult leader for another four years (or longer, with Don Jr. ready to inherit the throne when America's first king is dead).

He represents some exposure both Trump and Biden have in this election, that being the Covid pandemic handling and Dr. Fauci in particular. I believe Republicans are coming to him, not the other way around. There are some other ideas RFK Jr. is floating that sound like they're out of the GOP populist playbook, but he's been singing that song for a long time now. Hard to fault him for running as a Democrat seeing that his linage and family are all Democrats.

I think some actually like him. He’s an anti establishment anti war conspiracist. The fact is the Q wing of the Republican Party care more about those things and less so on substantive policies.

He was also a rigged voting machines election denial guy (he supposedly had 'proof' that Bush rigged the vote with Diebold in Ohio in 2004)

He’s a complete nut and I’d probably vote for any of the republicans over him, except for Trump. Yes, even DeSantis, and it pains me to say that.

What makes him a nut to the point you'd vote for DeSantis over him?

It's particularly interesting given that the candidate Republicans are backing (Trump) took credit for the same vaccine that Kennedy is getting a lot of praise for calling into question. Even DeSantis was out there talking about how many lives the vaccine was saving. I wonder how many Republicans really like Kennedy versus think he'd be a good spoiler and easier person to beat in the general.
