We moved from Roswell to our home on Lake Lanier last year and love it up here. So much so that we are going to upsize and retire up here...most likely in Harbour Point.

At some point I need to meet @SuperMOM -- we might be the only two on GC with kids at UGA.

My daughter lives on Van Pugh Park! Right across the street from The Ozarks house!

 

Interesting. That’s where I moved from in 2021. Now back in Florida. Fortunately got outta there before balllickers started winning nat championships. Of course they were insufferable even before.

 

I'm in Flowery Branch. Been here since 2000 (after a 1 year stint at Riverside Military Academy). If you ever see a Georgia Gator license plate with Army stickers on it (Honda Civic) thats me. Not too many around here.

I loved my 2 years in Roswell. Moved down after college and lived right across the street from the Holiday Inn, on the hill. Spent many a night at Horsefeather (the bar inside) and Tony's Sportsbar. That traffic sux now.

 

You lived in Habour Point? If so, I'd love to figure out how to DM you to get some insight on that community. We've had our place on the lake for 20 years (with our own dock) so this is a big change for us (gated community, HOA, shared dock, etc...).

@SuperMOM -- I'll look for you in May when our kids graduate. Mine will be with the Terry School of Business grads.

Sorry that I contributed to the Jeremiah Smith diversion. It was interesting reading how many of us love N. GA and I had to jump in...especially when they started talking about Harbour Point.
