A right to privacy and be free from government intrusion has to extend to all or it ceases to be a right and becomes a privilege. Florida has a constitutional right to privacy. When I send my DNA swab into some DNA place I expect it to be held privately. If law enforcement suspects me of something and has sufficient cause, there are legal processes to go through. Comply with those requirements and I'm fine with disclosure. If we are not protected from those intrusions, we might as well mandate DNA specimen swabs and provision of fingerprints of EVERY person after they reach the age of 14 and that they be recorded in a database accessible upon request to every law enforcement and child support enforcement agencies in the US. No thanks.
