Those are the exterior windows. Do you have proof the inner windows are not fully retractable? Or if there is even is an inner window?

I find it hard to believe that the head of trump's Secret Service detail would lie.

Well, she’s not lying. She wasn’t there (for a couple of her stories) and says as much. Generally speaking, this is why hearsay is not admissible. You can hear an exaggerated or distorted version of events, and you can inadvertently distort what you heard in your own mind since you didn’t witness the event in question. They are going to have to subpoena the people who were actually there.

That covers it. It’s amazing that they don’t care that a crazed president - literally - assaulted our democracy. Even his own people considered invoking the 26th Amendment and scores quit. How can anyone support such a man?

After today’s testimony the question is if Trump should be prosecuted?

The caption about the Secret Service agent having the skills to cope with the most demanding driving conditions… is hilarious. BTW, you win the internet today for an honest retraction. Thumbs up.

I believe they're planning to subpoena the secret servicemen that were in the car. And yes, they can be compelled to testify, that precedent was set when Clinton was cavorting with Monica.

I was questioning whether it was particularly relevant to anything. Other than the millionth example showing what an insane manchild we were dealing with. Technically what was described in this limo incident was an assault on federal law enforcement… committed by the President of the United States against his own secret service agent. Insane, but obviously nobody is charging that particular crime.

However it is pretty relevant to the broader 1/6 issue, as many people dismiss Trumps speech as him joking around and not literally wanting to march over to Capitol Hill. If all this stuff of him throwing tantrums and believing he could still march over to Congress is true, if he thought he could march with the mob right after his speech, it proves the opposite. So I’d say they probably should actually subpoena secret service. Maybe there’s a “report” on the incident that can be obtained for the record, otherwise you need to get the testimony.
