I watched the hearing live. These witnesses are all GOP party members or leaders who supported Trump. You can’t even address the narratives. Just attack them.

It’s a choice. Believe the word of Trump - an unscrupulous, proven recidivist liar over documentary evidence and witnesses aligned with the Trump. And then tell the other side that the facts don’t count.

 

Somehow the testimony is altered by a news network? Magical think much?

Former White House lawyer Eric Herschmann says that it is not true that Cassidy Hutchinson wrote the handwritten note that she testified on Tuesday that she wrote. He says it's not true because he was the one who wrote the note.

Remember that time when Ginny Thomas told the world she was excited to talk to the January 6 Committee to set the record straight? Well, she refused to testify, too.

 

I love the non-specific dismissals of the proceeding.

First person testimony (under oath) by Republicans, emails, texts and video aren't compelling? I seriously question y'all's critical thought capacity.

I challenge you to answer these questions prior to emoting your cognitive dissonance yet again. Do you care if there was an attempt to stop the transfer of power, even if by Republicans? Did you watch the hearings? Do hearings with questions written by Republicans, asked by Republicans to Republicans close to trump lack credibility?

 

I certainly don’t believe a word trump says and I also do not believe one syllable from CNN and like news sources, of which there are sundry.
What am I supposed to do?

 

Fair enough. Don’t listen to spin.

How about, read the memos. Read the documents authored by the perpetrators. Listen to the testimony of Trumpians who honored their oath.

We have a he said / she said on the note. Should be easy enough for a handwriting expert to determine the likely author. Until such time, I will give the benefit of the doubt to the witness under oath on national TV. One which has plenty to lose.

 

But it does control to a very large extent the perception of your party.
In a way, CNN is part judge over the preceding.

 

So let's see if i got this straight, we have a Dem President, Dem attorney general and with all this "new evidence", still no indictment of Trump. I want trump indicted so he can't run for president again. Let's stop with the "this is huge earth shattering evidence". It's not. And most people don't give 2 craps about this. Just the extreme left, which most of this board are.

 

What changes about the content of the note if we know who wrote it?
