His statements are just icing. They already would have all the logs, chat printouts, server and phone data prior to contacting him. Maybe even a warrant in hand for his phone.

Nowhere in his post is he blaming Napier or the culture of the program for this. He is saying this is one of those pivotal moments in a coaching tenure. Not much to argue there.

That said, I don't share his concern here as I fully expect Napier to do the right thing move on from this troubled individual.

 

I think this situation goes way above Napier's head, possibly even Stricklin's.

Fair point but I don't expect Napier will have different feelings on the matter than those who ultimately have the say-so: ergo, I don't share the poster's concerns.

 

First thing, don't say anything. Get a lawyer.
That said, based on the reports that keep getting updated, I don't think a lawyer could save him. Like you said, the police seen to have had everything in line before the arrest. The only thing that would have helped him is if he hadn't decided to download illegal and exploitive images.

 

1st one that I'm aware of ... TBH the only issue I've heard of since Napier got here was Richardson's ridiculous speeding ticket.
