1) That we should wait and see what the legal system says, or

2) Back in the 50s and 60, a childless, unmarried 17 year old was consider an old maid in much of Florida?

And notice, I said the change is a GOOD thing...

My sentiments exactly. To me, I don't think it is nearly as severe to pass pics of his 17 year old GF and posting multiple pics of kids under 12. The latter is sick.

 

The arrest report for #Gators QB Jalen Kitna reveals new information about the child pornography complaints he faces. One of the images police say he shared was of a prepubescent girl and an adult man.


Changes everything. Lock him up, if guilty.

 

One of the earlier tweets said he shared something sketchy on discord and the police showed up with a warrant. If the investigation started in June, it sounds like there is more depth to this. Just an awful situation. SMH.

 

Anyone know if this is in State or Federal Court? Usually anything involving the internet gets sent to the Feds...

on second look, the court documents show he is def a porn addict and asking for stuff other than under age porn. It says something in there about wanting girls older than 16, and he’s 19.

 

Can you imagine being a teammate or roommate and finding out this goes back to June?

 

First, I apologize for the outburst. I certainly could have framed my response better. Emotions were on display by a lot of Gator Nation last night in the wake of this disturbing news. Myself included. The most evil thing in the world is bringing harm to kids and old people. This certainly fits that criteria.

Second… to readdress what I was trying to get at … is this was never a team or UF HR matter. It has been in the hands of law enforcement from the very beginning. There was no prior knowledge or involvement from the team or the university. There has been absolutely nothing documented since the very beginning, when this was first released, to even suggest that this could have been handled inappropriately.

My brain was incapable of worrying how this would look on our HC or to an even lesser extent, who would be our 2 deep at Qb for the bowl game. And I couldn’t understand how anyone else could go there either. Having said that, I’m sure CBN is absolutely heartbroken over this. A sad situation all the way around.
