That's all fair, I just know a little more detail on this one that sours me somewhat. That said, no idea if our staff is interested, but IMO it would have to be as a SS

Thank you, no drama And if transferring, which is well within the rules, is a problem then I guess we lots of issues in college football as over 1,000 are in the portal.

    Don't know.

Just what strikes me as odd is how hit or miss some db recruits from Jax area have been the last few years.

i lived in Columbus, Ohio for three years! Let me say, I was born in Gainseville Florida, my dad and mom both Graduated UF and worked in the area starting out in their careers. I remember beautiful Lakes, beaches and warm summers. Yes it can get really muggy in central Florida in the summer. In Columbus, it is overcast from early November till mid June every year. If you have grown up in the Sunshine State, it is a shock/depressing look to you. I remember a 21 below actual temperature with a forty below chill factor. You don’t go out in this weather and you hope the heater doesn’t breakdown and the pipes don’t freeze. Other than that, most Ohioans move out when they earn enough money to get out. There is a reason Jack Nicholas leaves in N. palm Beach, Florida.

It's too early to judge if a 2021 is a bust, but I worry about the quality of football in FL in general as it was becoming and now is with NIL. I think these NIL deals and scholarships have to be annual so college players don't only play on their "contract" years.

yea. Im not holding anything against the 2021 class and this year is a prove it year for 2020 kids too

yea and speaking of HS ball in Florida, a lot of folks dont want to admit it, but I do believe the state of Georgia has passed Florida HS football or running neck and neck with it. The quality has seemed to dip

Top 50 gives kids a big head in my opinion. Jerry Rice is tge goat because of work ethic, not god given talent. I think many forget to work hard.
