Rashada was at ASU, not Arizona. Only played a few games due to injury. ASU didn't have much in terms of a line or at RB. Rashada was often running for his life. But it didn't help that if the first read wasn't open, Rashada would take off. And Rashada had difficulties reading defenses. Arizona was able to pick Rashada off twice last year by disguising some blitzes. With that said, Rashada has the physical tools. Maybe a year on the bench and practice will help? For a school like UGA that already has a #1 QB, not a bad risk.
At UGA if Carson Beck drives around in a Lamborghini then Rashada will probably get a Prius or a really nice bicycle.
ASU is in Arizona. But just like when you are talking about FSU and UF, when you just say Arizona, that sounds like you are talking about Tucson, not Tempe.
It’s one thing for a coach to have to negotiate with a family, which is not such a big deal, but then have to read about the family on social media some bullshit
Yep and he was a true freshman. I don’t like his type but he’s far from a bust when he hasn’t even entered his rs fr year.
Dan Hurley has to recruit less than 10% of the players that a football coach has to. Probably considerably less than that actually. Much easier to deal with when you’re signing ~5 players a year. In football you’re trying to sign 20+ hs recruits and then another dozen or two transfers. You’re dealing with 100’s of recruits every year vs a dozen or two.
I'm not going to say it is over for Rashada. I watched him some last season. He looks like he has some physical tools that show why he was a high rated QB, but he was nowhere close to ready to start D1 football. They sent him to the bench and he will be better for it. Will he be a bust? Depends on where he ultimately gets to start. I don't think that will be at UGA though. I think he transfers again.
Essentially, the consensus is both QBs will start in 2025 and the messing part is Georgia winning the CFP with Rashada.
If I'm talking about a player who plays or played for UF, I would say played AT Florida. If I were talking about a player who did in fact play IN the State of Arizona and I did not at the time care where in Arizona, I would say IN Arizona. Are we done?
