Not surprising considering that since the monarch has immunity from prosecution there is no need for a special prosecutor.

I bring the same energy to those who bring negative energy. I own being an asshole 100%. However, those who are respectable, get respect back.

I'm sorry that it hurts your feelings that you don't understand that the message and the energy coming from the dems was so bad that people elected a twice impeached felon instead of Kamala. You seem to be new, I said Kamala should and thought she was going to be the president. I'm just calling you all out for being tone deaf and not understanding why you lost. But please do keep blaming everyone else and continuing with the same energy that gave you Trump twice.

I realize this is the new line of copium from the DNC, but you're being sold a bill of goods to keep you hooked for the next 4 years. If there is any indication either Smith or James were doing that, Trump DOJ will hammer them.

Poster's overwhelming desire "to look at me" leads him to make multiple unfounded assumptions about the feelings of all Democrats. How cute and socially juvenile. Oddly ironic for a random poster "to call out Democrats" for being tone deaf whilst being 100% tone deaf. LOL

You could have simply said I was wrong about you. Yet just like a lot of liberals that YOU share characteristics with, you feel the need to make sure I know exactly how you feel. A word salad with insults and a condescending tone, right on queue.

Furthermore, you may want to figure out what "tone deaf" actually means. I clearly said I own who I am. I know I'm an asshole which makes me especially qualified to deal with some of the people around here. Like I said, I match energy. You can take it or leave it, but thats who I am. Which is the opposite of tone deaf. Some people around here have berated, looked down on, called posters every derogatory name in the book as well as people around the country. The media has been telling them they are POS or racist or bigots for even thinking of voting for Trump over Kamala. Some of these people simply want to vote for the one they THINK will help them feed their family. Yet you have a large group of Dems/Liberal media and population chitting on them constantly. Y'all are still here doing the same thing after losing to a twice impeached felon. THATS tone deaf.

Thanks for playing though, you tried.

Sorry, we must not have understood exactly what a victim you were. What a burden to bear that the media has it in for you to that unthinkable extent. My condolences, glad you survived to share with us. I'm certain the felon will come though for you. BTW how many million Americans will likely lose their health insurance this term?

There it is right on queue. Just like I told you guys. Now look at all the accusations. Im a victim who apparently voted for Trump simply because you dislike the things Im saying and I haven't outright claimed Trump is the next coming of Hitler. Again, I said Kamala should be president and I've said Trump shouldnt be allowed to be president again. Yet here you are, pretending like Im in support of Trump for some unknown reason.. Oh wait, I know why, its because its right out of the playbook of a liberal.

You simply cannot help yourself. It's just second nature. It's going to happen again, when you respond you're going to have the same exact energy and claim Im even more of a Trump fan because I posted another post without pledging my allegiance to Kamala and claiming Trump is a Nazi.

You're all the same. Now I don't have time to argue about BS so Im going to let you have the last word. Ill unsubscribe from this thread for you and let you say anything you want and I promise you I wont be back to this thread. Yet I know for a fact you'll want the last word because its who you are. Bye now.

Oh no the victim claims even more assumptions about how he's being profiled (somehow, maybe reading very deeply between the lines?) and adds more broad stoke claims to substantiate victimhood.
Glad this is done since I long ago lost my copy of the playbook. LOL

I do not think the jurisdiction can change but you can hope for a more friendly judge next time around.

If a president purports to pardon himself, who would have standing to challenge it, and how would that look procedurally?

No one. SCOTUS said it is one of the defined powers of the office and it is up to the POTUS alone to decide who gets them.

Speculation by some talking heads last night that the Judge will throw out the case completely, dismissing the convictions.

Wonder why that would happen. I assume there are good legal reasons?

Or are we in an interesting new age where winning an election means it is OK for someone to commit crimes? (Which it certainly seems like, obviously)

Bill Clinton didn't pay hush money to Monica Lewinsky but he did send Vernon Jordan to see what it would take to get her to shut her pie hole about their relationship.

After talking to Monica, Jordan returned to the White House and told Clinton. "You're not going to believe what she wants. Then he told Clinton to sit down. "Monica wants you to get her a job as an MTV VJ."
An enraged Clinton threw his telephone against the wall.

Monica's request was later negotiated down to a corporate job.
