Likely that FBI caught him colluding with China or another foreign state and was extricated by China or said foreign state?
or a paper he wrote ended up on a CCP page somewhere and he didn't know about it when he applied for the grant and that was enough to cancel his visa? if he was guilty of something, why would he want due process instead of being shipped back as a hero??
