It's Going to be Real Quiet in Here Tonight

Sadly, if we keep playing the way we have been recently, NBN will be very quiet due to apathy. It really sucks when so few people show up for our games and nobody cares enough to talk Gator Basketball here on NBN.

 

For the most part this is status quo from year to year. After all the hoopla with signing day on the football boards starts to taper off it usually picks up over here.

 

What a great point and I was thinking the same thing. There was so much excitement for this team early on. I had some of my college buddies who are mostly casual Gator basketball fans texting me about this current team as they know how much I love Gator basketball. After the TX So. game they stopped paying attention. In fact, I didn't get any texts after we lost to Maryland and how they're not happy with White. This is another reason why I thought that the Tx So game was so disappointing. I think the fanbase not caring is even worse and sadly this is where we're at right now.

Maybe the Gators can right the ship over the next couple of weeks and some of that excitement can come back. There are certainly some huge games coming up so the Gators will have a chance. I can't say that I'm overly optimistic but hopeful.

 

Doesn't matter. Covid is surging again and the rest of the season will be canceled before we start conference play.
It was fun while it lasted.
My advice? Have some heavily spiked eggnog and do like AKA, go fishing.
