Lol. It's difficult to know where to start in debunking such a misinformed post.

Let's start here though. I, for one, am old enough to remember your plaintive wailing when Russian warships entered Havana while the makeup wearing traitor was president.

What's an advanced Russian warship doing in Havana harbor?

HAVANA (AP) — One of the Russian navy’s most advanced warships entered Havana’s harbor Monday and docked at the port....

I thought this thread was going to be about Medicare. Is my insurance still any good? Biden said, "We finally defeated Medicare." It's the first I had heard of it. It's the last thing I thought Democrats would do. What about Social Security? He didn't mention defeating that, but can I still depend on payments?

Be careful. Biden said they killed your Medicare, but Trump said Democrats are performing abortions after birth. So who knows who they could be targeting.

Well, when the moderators asked Trump twice what he would do about child care, instead of answering the question (how many questions did he answer?), he at some point talked about the Democrats killing babies after birth. I guess he was implying that he would put a stop to it, which would certainly qualify as child care.

I may be wrong .. likely am
But wasn’t Bkack unemployment at an all time low under Trump? Seemed like he HELPED the black community with jobs and education .

IF that was true.. why assume he meant blacks are only good for low paying menial jobs? And in the same breath.. if you believe that’s what he meant.. do you believe that’s the only jobs immigrants are good for?

was it a terrible optic - yes. But to just make the assumption that he was putting down blacks when he was making an argument in a debate seems to be a stretch.

No, it wasn't at its lowest. It's just another one of his lies.

Racists don't get any benefit of the doubt for questionable things they say in the same way that felons don't get the same when accused of more crimes.

He's a racist. That's not "a stretch." That should be kept in mind when he says anything about blacks (or hispanics too). Same with David Duke or any other racist. I can't imagine who else besides a racist who is sick in general would point at a black guy in a rally crowd and say, "There's my African American!" What a proud moment for that black guy, Trump proudly acknowledging to all those worshipful white folks that there was apparently one black person there. Some of those white folks had to think, "What's that fool doing here?"

No it was under Biden which was a continuation of a trend of rate decreases that started with Obama

As I said, prove it so thanks for the graph:

    1. Obama left 8.0% in December 2016.

    2. After Trump started with 7.5% in January 2017, the rate dropped to 5.3% in September 2019 which was an all-time low. Clearly, gatorchamps is incorrect.

    3. Trump left 9.9% in December 2020 as covid spending had brought the rate back down to from its peak of 16.9%.

    4. Biden started with 9.3% in January 2021. The rate bottomed at 4.8% in April 2023 which set a new all-time low after Biden's 3 huge inflation causing fiscal spending plans. As of May 2024, the rate is 6.1%.

The graph does not indicate that I believe a lie. It is accurate as to what has happened over the life of the graph.

When Trump says he set an all-time low in black unemployment in his term. He is making a true statement. The May 2024 rate is .1% higher than when Trump left office at 6.0%. There is nothing wrong or bad with the black unemployment rate in historical terms, but Trump thinks the revival of his black enterprise zones in cities will bring black unemployment down further than where it is today and hopefully closer to the overall May 2024 4.0% unemployment rate.

I knew you would spin it. I said the trend started when Obama was in office. The all time low has been during Biden's term. Why did you type a bunch of unrelated fluff?

So we can add, "can't read a chart" to your list of shortcomings.

4.8% < than any Trump number.

    Your goalpost moving is ludicrous.

Nope, he's lying. Because he did absolutely nothing positive to affect unemployment anywhere except deficit-fueled upper bracket tax cuts, which obviously have to be paid back later (now).

Trump, of course, did some things which NEGATIVELY affected unemployment, such as tariffs.

If Trump, or you, wanted to be accurate, you could say that his orgy of deficit spending in a strong economy had a temporary effect on unemployment, But that, of course, is like everything Trump does - just taking credit for something he's having someone else (future generations, in this case) pay for.

I'm sure they know how to read a chart but once they realize they were wrong they decided to move the goalposts and not respond to the initial statement

    You really need help.

I figured that Biden’s awful performance would trigger ridiculous posts by his supporters, bu my oh my you from 0-60 in 1.84 seconds.

When I think of ridiculous posts, you complaining about the -all of a sudden, and never before!- Russian naval ships in Havana, under Joe Biden comes to mind.

Tbh, though, I was surprised that you didn't approve of that. Your political leader may appreciate having Russian help nearby if he decides to attack America again.
