    In an average year Kentucky would be head and shoulders better than NC State and Wake. This year fsu would've beaten KY, but over the last several years, probably not so much. Good chance KY would've made at least one appearance in the ACC Championship game during that span.

    Not to mention that SEC requires playing.

    Or that not playing means $0.00 in revenue sharing for SEC bowl teams (if permitted. $13.4 million last year

    That may be true, but I was only responding to an inaccurate statement, not taking a position on the merits of focusing on football and/or basketball first.
    If people want to crack on Foley or Stricklin that’s perfectly acceptable, but they need to at least bring accurate information with their argument. Lord knows there are plenty of legitimate facts to make a case.
