Is Trump really saying that, after he fixes things, no more elections?

Of course he didn't mean it. If an authoritarian or wannabe dictator says elect me and you won't ever have to vote again, it's just pure coincidence that an authoritarian or wannabe dictator would say that. Isn't that the intelligent thing to assume? Just like when he says he will use the power of the presidency to get retribution against all those who have wronged him (he who has "done nothing wrong"), only a fool would think that he means it.

 

I’m not sure what he meant by that if NOT that there will be no more elections after he becomes president again. Can anyone provide another plausible explanation for what he says here? Because I can’t think of anything else that would explain it. Thanks in advance!

IOW you're acknowledging that Trump simply lies all the time with every breath. What he said to those Christians or says to anyone else is just BS. Which is why we should vote for him. Right?

It is both hilarious and scary. Even on the microcosm of too hot you see it. Even when you quote Trump's own words, it is labeled a lie or off topic.

What is it that rational people think he meant by what he said?

IMO he's either too diminished to realize what he's mistakenly saying OR he's upset about Harris and wants some attention back on him.

But the REAL takeaway, IMO, isn't that he's some combination of wannabe autocrat, liar, babbler or buffoon....it's that it has now been EIGHT YEARS (!!!!!) that his followers have seen and accepted this!

After EIGHT YEARS they clearly still want an authoritarian Daddy figure, and they are STILL OK having to chuck out that "He didn't mean what he said" line.
