And yet, when I read the support for the Hateful Policies, it is almost always framed as excuses and apologies, or like some (you) a regrettable means to an end to battle a leftist agenda that had gone too far.

I don’t believe laws should need to be explained away with excuses. It seems to me that those excuse-filled laws are never good laws.

Perhaps unreasonable to someone who is at War with a leftist politics, but eminently reasonable to people who prefer it to be governed by hate and fear.

You gave three examples: CRT, Gerrymandering, and DEI.

Two of those are Marxist agendas disguised as minority agendas and one of those is something both parties are guilty of, the question is towards whom.

If you think that's enough to consider someone a racist or a fascist, I encourage you to leave or stay away from Florida.

Branding your opponents as racists, fascists, and reincarnated segregationists is governing by hate and fear.

And that is the core democratic pitch because when all else fails, they always go back to this well. All roads lead to "racism."

Or it’s just simply being truthful. Blinding yourself to hateful proclivities is far more dangerous, as history has proven time and again.

But it's not what they are. That's the problem.

This always ends the same. "It's racist because I said so... you sound like segregationists from the 60s."

It's not a good faith conversation, it's a bully tactic.

Of course. And I have no doubt you believe it. That’s why I believe your position is a form of willful blindness, or a feat of mental gymnastics to logically reach a preconceived conclusion.

Do you not understand the Marxist parallels between DEI and CRT?

But aren’t you the same guy that says the extremism is ok, because it’s needed to defeat a Left gone amuck?

The only connection I see is that it is Marxist to try and rewrite history to conclude a more comfortable narrative.

I am floored this got 7 disagrees. I think you nailed it. It’s impossible to know what they really think, but it is quite clear what they are doing.

It takes an out-of-context view of history to view the US as uniquely racist and evil.

And that's putting aside the fact that DEI and CRT isn't just about history, it's about today.

I'm the guy saying the right needs to fight the left at their own game or they will always lose.

You'll never beat someone who controls the definitions, the terms, and all of the institutions of influence, especially when they have no interest in meeting you in the middle or granting you any sort of grace.

do you believe that removing all elements related to race in the story of Rosa Parks reflects a total lack of racial awareness or a goal to whitewash the reality of the time?

Do you believe that the 1619 Project offers an accurate and in-context take on history?
