95, I don’t doubt your numbers, as they seem realistic for a high caliber QB. But what’s your source? I was under the impression that NIL numbers weren’t made public.

 

By declare do mean enter the portal? Because he can’t declare for the draft

 

You don't get 4* or 5* players at your program without big money anymore. I don't understand the question posed by the OP. What's the point of speculating where one of our current players would go if he entered the portal? Enjoy the ride.

 

To answer your question not as an insider but as a people watcher...
Of course NIL is somewhat keeping him here, in that, if NIL went away then I'm sure he would bolt.

But like many folks, NIL is just part of the story.
It's clear he loves CBN, loves the Gators, loves the program.
He could get mucho NIL anywhere- but this is where he is because this is where he wants to be.

Many employees are in the same boat.
Salary is important, benefits are important, and if those were reduced they would bolt.
But once you have "enough" then atmosphere, colleagues, boss, etc are what keeps them at the same company.

 

Wait- you honestly thought Lagway could declare for the draft?
You don't know he's a rising true soph and players can't declare for the draft until after their 3rd year????

Dude- maybe get some basic facts before starting a thread...

NOW- Lagway CAN portal out to almost any college team in the USA.
IF that's your worry- ok. That could happen as ETN and Pyburn did.
But we don't have to worry about the draft for 2 years.

I'm kinda shocked anyone posting on the board doesn't know this.

It's OK. We all make mistakes. I'll just lock it so the thread doesn't go sideways. Everyone can always start a new ones to discuss something related but we already have an NIL thread on page 1.
