Back to F' Todd...he got outcoached by the soon-to-be-fired Jerry's Stackhouse. Worst end-of-game coaching I've seen in a long time against a weak opponent.
This wasn't a coaching issue. Vandy had some very fortunate bounces go their way on offensive glass, and the refs were calling some dumb stuff at the end. That foul against Tyrese was crazy. The foul against Condon was crazy (even though Micah fouled him earlier but that's not what they called). Clayton with a horrible pass was probably what doomed us but then you had a phantom stoppage at the end after we went through our play design to give Vandy a chance to see our play. Just terrible, but these refs didn't do us any favors in the most critical moments.
I F’N love this guy! Gator Chomping during the game! His energy. Signing autographs for fans and the SEC Now crew after cutting it up with them in the post game show the second night in a row. The last guy had the personality of a bump on a log. Todd F’n Golden gets it! The Golden Boy!!!!
I met him...and he is just like what he portrays in this interview...very very genuine, open, warm and personable..I was very impressed
I watched it live, loved his answer about not taking the air out of the ball and keeping the foot on the pedal. Polar opposite from uga’s coach
He won two games which was probably our expectation going in to the tournament. Anyone angry at him for losing today would be irrational
yeah…. I love that type stuff. Here is a kinda neat story. I took my daughter to the sec tennis tourney in Gainesville a couple years ago. It was a couple months after we hired Golden. After the match, I saw the staff at the practice facility, and introduced myself and my daughter, Brooke. He was very nice, spoke for a bit and took a photo. After.. he was taking visiting Broome on a campus tour. It was a couple hours later and my daughter and I were still on campus and walking back from a lunch. He, Broome and a couple other staffers passed by on the gator golf cart. As they passed, Coach yelled out… “have fun, brooke!”.
Respectfully disagree. While there is no doubt football is the main sport at UF, all my Gator friends support every sport and are super passionate about them. UF is not a Duke or Gonzaga where hoops is obviously #1, but our fans care a heck of a lot about the other sports.
